@Stew: Nice on your bro's Eva collection. I obtained 3\4 of Steam Detectives by finding most of the volumes in the clearance bin at Hastings, for $1 to $2 each -w-

So, my sister was shopping online to find stuff for her Grell cosplay, which lead me to taking a spontaneous trapventure roughly 2 hours before work. I ended up finding what I was looking for: the pencil skirt I needed for that PDP-11-tan cosplay, for just $10 >:3
(Now, I just need a labcoat as far as the basics, and a DEC logo pin just to add to it -w-)

I know I was told to focus on getting there first and on a cosplay last, but given how I had 1\2 of what I needed for this one in-hand, and the remaining 1\2 isn't going to be terribly expensive, I figured I'd knock it out -w-;
(Still have to figure out a mom-friendly cosplay. I thought about Gold, but I'm still on the fence about it. I have a year to think it over while I save up for AB, and if all else fails, Bella did point out I could swap the skirt for slacks and have an instant R63'd PDP-11 cosplay -w-)

If I had a dollar for every OS X compatible game I want to play that only runs on OS X 10.7+ (I run OS X 10.6.8), I would have like twenty bucks.

I guess the silver lining is, when I finally get around to buying another Mac I'll have no shortage of games to play. And they'll probably be marginally less expensive by then....

Indeed. In my case, the only thing keeping me from dropping TF2 onto Asagi II is that she lacks an ATI or nVidia graphics chipset; instead having the rubbish Intel HD chipset as a severe bottleneck :\
(...and 2k, while more than powerful enough, isn't portable enough to deal with a game that has frequent giant updates and requires transport to grandma's office. I had to give up on La Tale and MapleStory because they simply took too long to patch over my hone connection :\ )

They aren't super frequent.  You get a 200MB update maybe every four months or so with under 10 maybe every two.

Noted. I remember they were more frequent and always gigantic when I had TF2 installed on TARDIS way back in 2010, so I guess they changed that
