These are tempting. Even though they'd be quite a bit more expensive with the specs I'd order (like, in the $800-$1200 range). :/

So I basically, subtly told the boss of my second job (that I work weekends on) to take the fuck off after yesterday.  He's a nice guy and I like him, but a) this is not the job he told me I'd be doing b) I will work 20 hours a fucking day, but I cannot work seven days a week and still do my actual job c) I can dig holes.  That simple.  I have before (and will again) but with a garden space, a broken digging iron, and no room to move I cannot dig a six foot hole.  Also last night I woke up feeling like there was a ton of bricks on my chest because of strain from lifting a hundred pounds of dirt the wrong way.

Today?  Today I'll spend eight hours aimlessly sweeping out the museum.  Or more likely one hour and then seven pretending this wasn't pointless for me to come in.

well, he WAS pretty weird and dorky, so i suppose that's an accurate statement. :\

@bells: fair enough, but remember that is your own doing, considering i DID find you laptops $800 and uner. :\

@stew: good for you, when the time comes you really got to put your foot down. i wish my mum would, she's getting screwed over so bad at work these days. on the upside, she's found leads on 2 government jobs that will pay extremely well, so she's going to apply when she gets home from vacation.


driving is weird. i need to work on my parking a little. kinda thankful i have no reason to go on the highway this week. i have a car for 3 days.
