Red_Machine: Flouting the Windows Lifecycle Policy since 1989!

Because you're lame not Amurcans.

That being said, I survived my own family Thanksgiving/grandfather's birthday.  Oysters are delicious.

Bella

I think I overate. =.=;

stewartsage

Of course you did Bells, THIS IS AMERICA.

Krizonar

Ooooh, general chat!

I had a pretty good day today, the food was good. Had to travel 4 states to get it though :)
My next technological endeavor will be a swiss army flash drive!
/ba dum, pssh

no, seriously.

oh and...

Bella

BUT I NEVAR OVEREAT! My body usually doesn't allow it. -.-

General Chat, where all hell breaks loose on OSC... AWESOMELY! Four states eh? Quite a long haul, but at least you didn't have to fly.

Good luck and godspeed with the bootable flash drive, *salutes*

stewartsage

We know  Bells.

Only had to go one over to the left.  Thank you Kriz.  Why did it take so long for someone to chime in with the Bandit Kiethage.

Bootable flashdrives are easy, if you use Unet.

Xeon

Turkey Day?? were still kinda celebrating Curry Day here ;o.

Them be the Velvets. They are made of Velvets and Megidolaon.

Krizonar

I believe you misunderstood, I'm not speaking of a bootable flash drive, I'm talking about a legit swiss army flash drive.

Yes... I did have to travel 4 states,

four AMERICAN states.

stewartsage

Ah that thing.  s'what I thought of originally; then Bells.

Not sure how useful that'd be though.  Where you need a knife a flashdrive would seem to get in the way.

NejinOniwa

Just realized, though: I don't need any turkey here.

Cuz' I've got a nice fimbulwinter...loads of snow...GINGERBREAD...AND CLOUDBERRY GLÖGG.

I've won now.

To that good sir I riposte with a thundering meh!  I meh at you, sir, meh!  Good day.

Thanksgiving... that means getting together with family? That sounds horrible to me. -.- My parents and brother and his family are okay, but all the aunts and uncles and cousins and such who I barely even know, not to mention my grandmother, who's always present in family reunions. I'd have to get a job which'd have me work that day just to avoid meeting some of the "family". >.<;

So, I'm currently in all-out panic mode (well, really more like cold dread, but you get the gist).

I upgraded my 2005 hp ze2000 craptop's RAM (256mb to 1gb, well under the allowable maximum of 2gb), switched it on, it turned off halfway through bootup and won't go on again (even when I put the old RAM module back in). Now I'm freaked out I've fried the mobo ... or something like that.

Bear in mind I haven't had a single hardware issue until now. Yikes.
