I'll bring the pasta salad!

Spent most of the afternoon in VT. Hmm, I've had way too many Lame Moments of Triumph today. First I found an old wheat-sheaf penny and was all "OMGYAY!" because I collect said pennies, and then I turned it over and found it was from 1942 and I was like, "MYLUCKYNUMBERLOLOLOL!"

And then I found a make-your-own-earring set at a department store, which excited me because I've always wanted to try jewelery making, but never really knew where to start. I still don't know WHERE to start, but at least now i have the right materials for the job...

And then on the radio station they were doing a listener-voted top 100 albums marathon, and Radiohead's OK Computer got.... 50-somethingith place, and I squee'd. Which confused the driver of the car. Interesting, it was the first time I've ever heard Let Down and Paranoid Android on any radio station, ever. (For the record: I voted for the albums Blonde on Blonde, White Album and OK Computer)

Now I'm back home... VT was lovely and all, but really, it was starting to get to me a bit. The people... I won't say they're not polite, but... um... the politeness to hostility ratio there is higher than what I'm used to in Eastern NE. Must be the situated next to NY thing... >> << >>

I'd request some songs for the radio show, Stew, but I seem to have lost my list of super awesome amazing country/folk/altrock songs and bands I discovered on this wicked UMass Boston radio station. A shame, I'm sure some of them would have been relevant to your interests. D:

Pretty roses Zen! And that looks like delicious ice cream too~ :D

On an unrelated note, um, things have been going somewhat-well for your memory-resident lurker.

No one else is being spammed by this thing?. It specifically mentions the site so I though it would be a spammer who registered on the site or something. Gonna scan my computer just in-case then.

Well...we can't have that, but it's hardly an easy thing to do something about, is it?

If it turns up more, please post those reports in the spam thread.

You collect wheat pennies too, too?! :V I also collect flattened/pressed pennies, I feel compelled to find a penny-press every time I'm at a tourist attraction or historic site or whatever. (Also have a few I've flattened on train tracks!)

Jewelry class, really? D:

Good luck on your first day of college!  ;010

Boldface'd the sayings I use or have used in the past. But where's "can't" as a positive ("let's see if we can't find the lost keys") and "so don't I" as a confirmation ("you like coffee? So don' I!")? d:

NejinOniwa

Positive "can't" is pretty widespread, you know.

And I'm getting this severe urge to bomb something to oblivion.

stewartsage

Indeed.

Give in, pick somewhere nice.

NejinOniwa

Jerusalem is a nice place to bomb...
Then again, that happens all the time, more or less. Sigh. Why doesn't anyone ever FINISH SHIT OFF?

W00t today is officially Party Day *Literally translated* for me and mah people. Today is the day where we go on a holy pilgrimage in search of *Open-Houses* to invade and eat out of house and home while also demanding l00t from the home owners in the form of green packs filled with monies *Party Money*. And once that's done we head for the next target and the cycle continues until it is our turn to bare the madness ;3.

Happy Party Day people -w-.
