also, the govenator!!

and the heat is not the problem with california, I had no problems with that at all, its the people.  there may be good people there but they are few and far between.  Plus I hold it against them for what they are doing to montana.

as for actors, there are a few good ones, like bruce willis, but for the most part, i think the world would be a much better place without actors trying to form political opinions about things like war cus they potrayed a soldier on TV.

TEXAS! only steers and *eers come from texas, and you dont look like no steer!

as for cali and heat, i never thought it was that hot.. cept in 29 palms in the middle of the summer... But i do remember some very very cold nights. problem I have with cali is how fast the temp changes, it will be brught hat and sunny, but the second the sun drops, litteraly as the shade of the mountains creeps over you it drops to DAMN IM COLD.   I had it down to an art, when I saw that shadow coming I started putting on my warming layers then.  Everyone laughed and said "what, are you cold?"  then it would hit and they would be trying to put long johns on while shivering their asses off... haha.

hahaha So freakin' true.  Well, right now, it's been pretty nippy.  not too long ago we were hitting 80s.  Although i've seen faster temp changes. heh

My aunt lives in palm desert, not too far from 29 palms.  holy hell that place is hot.

Oh, and rain. I swear, 90% of the people have no idea how to drive when it rains.  They either don't care and speed like they normally do, or panic and drive 25 mph on the freeway. >_>

I was mostly joking earlier, reason being is that few people in Hollywood can feasibly call themselves actors.  Since the 80s, largely who you'll find are personalities - people with charisma.  While having charisma doesn't hurt, it doesn't make an actor either.  Case in point, Alec Baldwin (or better yet any of the Baldwin brothers) sure he's interesting to watch one or two times, but he couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.  In regards to political opinion, I could give a damn - it might matter more to me if he sounded more genuine about his ideas.  Thankfully, I can still watch Beetlejuice and his performance not bother me...

I've heard this before... but I'm not from TX!  *bawls*

Being in the South... yeah, I'm used to that -__-...

heh.... indeed, well there is also the problem that when you dont have rain for a long time, and then you get rain, all the oil and crap on the roadway sort of comes to the surface and makes it slick as hell.

Getting used to driving on I5 in socal nearly got me in a lot of trouble up here.. down there doing 80-90mph is normal, driving the speed limit makes you a road hazard.. but you drive more then 5 mph above here and youll likely get pulled over. hell,  alot of people drive BELOW the speedlimit here.

funny story about 29 palms tho.. apperently there is a turtle there that only drinks water like every few years... but if you startle it it wets itself and dies <_< srsly....  but we drop 2000lb bombs out there all the time, but god forbid we are driving a humvee and we see one... we have to stop and wait for it to walk awak so we dont scare it =_=

Added after 1 minutes:

haha, im gonna have to rewatch Team America now thanks to you..

That is so freakin AWESOME.  LOL

and in response to your previous post:
Yeah, speeding is normal here.  I find myself driving around 10mph above the speed limit just to keep up with the natural flow of traffic.

On road trips to other states, my dad and I would never go above the speed limit. Especially in Texas. lol State troopers everywhere, good god.

Did a little googling, and I think I found your turtle:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_Tortoise

"One defense mechanism the tortoise has when it is handled or molested is to empty its bladder. This can leave the tortoise in a very vulnerable condition in dry areas, and they should never be alarmed..."

CaptBrenden

srsly, and we had to report all our spottings of it, and if we startled it, etc, if we acidently killed one whatever.. god forbid you didnt and someone found out, your entire chain of command could get relived, making a desert turtle pee itself was a bigger offence then loosing a rifle <_<

Why does the natural world have to be so effin' hilarious?  I mean, since when is a hard outer shell not enough of defense that it has to piss itself to death.  Ok... I should probably cut out the observational comedy -__-;.
