Jem looks oddly like Rainbow Quartz. though she has no gem on her body, so perhaps she's just in cosplay.


as for Steven x Other Gems, the only Rose fusion we've seen is Rainbow Quartz. i'm sort of curious to see how and if they would make the same fusion again, and what physical properties have changed---for example, Pearl doesn't have those leg warmers anymore!

Also, MFW I'm watching Melissa Harris Perry (a politics & new show that deals heavily with social justice [generally the real kind, not the tumblr kind]) and the topic turns to Magic Mike being a feminist movie.

she's a diamond shapeshifter, i think i posted some art of her before and i've been drawing her for years and she's the on OC that i've held onto since my childhood

@bells: I'm not against people having gemsonas and whatnot, but I get a bit....aggrevated at some. at this point no gem is safe, so I'd rather just wait for the canon interpretation of it. :\

I don't really consider Cocks' character to be a legit gemsona, since it came LOOOOONG before the show was even a thing and doesn't share the same properties as the show's gems. :0

(I mean, it's up to her at the end of it, but based off the facts right now I wouldn't consider it like that. :0 )

i honestly don't care if you think its a legit gemsona or not, it's my own character that i created a very long time ago and have had time to develop the appearance of said character. it has no connections at all to the canon of steven universe and i dont intend her to. it's just a silly coincidence that the concepts are the same.

her diamond is almost exclusively worn as a necklace or built into her suit, right at the start of the sternum.

i've long ago lost the picture i drew of what she turns into, but basically imagine a big ol' dragon made of diamond scales and breathes blue fire

i should redraw that....
