I don't know if it's the congestion medicine of the huge amounts of pressure in my ears screwing up my equilibrium but I feel so messed up right now. :L

Nichi

This is the first time I've had to sit down and relax since about 12 today. We got hit with a heavy rush at work, and it didn't let up until I had everything caught up and could finally go home ;___;

i was hoping after i took off the wig, the headache would go away. it didn't. oh well, at least i'm clean~

I know that feeling; if I keep my wig on too long, especially with a wig cap, I get a headache :\

Bella

Tfw you contemplate your future and every possible path leads to a Morton's Fork situation where somebody gets hurt.

TBH I'm looking forward to my vacation next month, as I get some time away from everyone for a while, so I can relax

Goujer (she/her)

A vacation sounds nice especially after finishing up my finals. My family has planned one for Arizona this summer after that I'll be working full time for the first time ever.

What is wearing a wig like? I've always thought of them as itchy not really headache inducing.

Nichi

At least in my case, the main headache-inducing thing is the wig cap; which you wear under a wig (Helps to hide your natural hair, and can help keep the wig from coming off). It's sort of like putting a really tight hairnet on; which for me causes headaches when worn for an extended period. The wig itself is generally fine, if it's well made (Higher quality wigs, like ones from a beauty supply store, are of much higher quality than wigs bought at a costume shop), and as long as you keep up the usual care (Usually I can just brush mine and it's fine, but washing it is also a good idea when needed).

As for a vacation, mine is to a resort on a nearby lake. It's not the best thing ever, admittedly, but given that I'm not paying for it, I can't complain. My grandparents on mom's side have a timeshare there, and get a free week at it once a summer. This started back in 2010 or so, and they used to try to get everyone to stay there all at once, which gets crowded when you're trying to fit 9+ people into what is basically a 2-bedroom apartment (Leaving most sleeping on the floor). Nowadays, my grandparents will let whomever wants the free week to take it; often times, if multiple people want it, they divide it between them (Like, my parents get it for so many nights, and then my aunt and her family get it for however many nights after that). This will be the second time I've had it to myself; admittedly it's more fun when you get some friends together, but it's still more enjoyable solo than with mom or her family -w-;;

@lego: what pent said. it itches a little when it gets into my eye, but that's mostly a matter of me needing to trim it. it breathes a lot better than you might think.

@pent: some R&R will do you good, man. you go glen coco. you soak in that tub.

@bells: care to elabourate?

Bells, there is no reason to fret.

this job hunt is really making me depressed.

@Kari: I know that feel; it's why most of 2012 was a very rough time for me, as it seemed like nobody wanted to hire me at all :\
