What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's an oyster with two figures of your favorite Touhou characters. Look again, the figures are now vials of the Hourai Elixir. Anything is possible when your waifu smells like Old World and not a man. I'm a frog.

@Cocks: I hope that's not a bad sign :[

So, again with a shitty night at work. You have no idea how thankful I am that I'm off the next two days; as I don't plan to go anywhere near Walmart. The story in the spoiler tag, as to not make this too long.

Dr. Mario, or: How I Learned to Stop Caring and Lose Track of Time via Super Smash Bros.: ShowHide
It all began...this morning, actually; right after I woke up. I saw I had a missed call, and it turns out they were trying to call me into work early, because someone called in sick. Not really wanting to, I made up the excuse that I was helping my dad change the brakes on his car and couldn't get there until the time listed on my schedule. I then spent the rest of the morning playing Zelda: Wind Waker, which I managed to finish up, while I talked with Spence for a while about the new Smash Bros. I then decided to play some before work; as I was on the edge of unlocking Dark Pit...but the first time I got careless and threw myself off the stage, and the second time I had my ass handed to me. I would have attempted a third time, but I glanced at the clock and realized I need to get ready for work now, so I put my 3DS away, threw on my clothes, and was out the door.

To be honest, it seemed like it was going to be an alright day; as this was my short day, and I'd be off the next two days. Little did I know, this little 4.5-hour shift was going to be dominated by two major customers back-to-back.

First up, crazy lady with a StraightTalk phone. She was explaining her problem to me...and she was talking so quickly and was overly animated to the point she makes my bro-in-law's characters on The Sims look as cardboard as the cast of Twilight. I have to wonder if she did drugs...or at the very least, had too much coffee. Somebody gave her incorrect information on her phone's warranty, so I had to try and explain that as well as why her phone gets poor reception (And then she began rattling on about the warranty when I was trying to explain the signal issues to her), and I offered to let her use the phone at my desk to call the insurance company that handles Walmart's extended warranty to file a claim on the phone...and they wouldn't do anything about it; they told her to talk to StraightTalk. I'm thankful she wasn't mad at me, but at the same time I was fried after that, and could relate to this Linkara GIF. I was ready to take my 15-minute break after that, even if I hadn't quite been there long enough; as I really needed to take a step back and unwind from that. Unfortunately, I couldn't step away yet; too many other things going on.

After a little while, still trying to recover mentally from the previous thing, another customer comes up; wanting to add an iPhone 6 to their plan. What seemed like a simple task turned into a nearly 2-hour ordeal; as my unfamiliarity with the new system for doing contracts showed, on top of some issues with what the customer wanted to do (Ultimately, she had to call Verizon herself to change some things I couldn't figure out how to do in my system, before I could finish the activation). While I'm trying to do this, the phone's ringing off the hook with customers wanting pricing on things when I can't leave my desk because I'm in the middle of a contract, and the rest of my coworkers were tied up (One of which had to go to the back to do something they tried to get me to do last night, but I had no way to do it because I can't leave the department unattended). Honestly, the new system for contract phones is a piece of shit; if I end up needing assistance, I have to call a Walmart call center that has staff with StraightTalk levels of incompetence, versus the old system of calling AT&T \ Verizon \ etc. directly.

Finally, after that was finished, I was more than ready to take my break...and the only other coworker in my department decides to take hers right then as well, so I'm left on the floor by myself, while my brain is completely fried from back-to-back bullshit, and I'm also starving. Finally, she came back, so I got to go on break; only a 15-minute one, and since McDonald's was crowded and I didn't have time for anything else, I just had some beef jerky to try and get my energy back up.

After that, it came time for me to go home...but my coworker that was sent to the back to tear down those boxes was still back there. In a panic, I did what I remember being told to do to prevent overtime...only for that person to take the time to walk to my department to scream at me about how I'm not supposed to do that and this is against protocol and otherwise not giving a fuck that nobody is supposed to get overtime at all, and here I am edging closer into overtime. So, I call a manager and ask him to locate my coworker and have him come back out; which went a lot better...and finally, he showed back up. Thus, I turned the keys over to him, apologized for not straightening up the shelves, and clocked out so I could finally go home.

Come Monday, I'm going to go talk to the hospital about the application I put in for equipment orderly; as I saw it was still open, and I also learned the person that replaced my former boss is one of the people that did really like me during my first time there, so I might have the push I need to get back there. Also, mom suggested that, if I can't get back on at the hospital, I try to apply for a job at the local AT&T Store; as they seem like they'd attract much better customers than Walmart, plus I already have experience in cell phones.

Now, I think I'm going to take a bath, and then find something to eat :\

Guys...I just managed to somehow survive Event Match 49 in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and then went on to finally take on and complete Event Match 51. It's been nearly 9 years since I obtained the game, but at long last, it's completed...unless I decide to obtain the last handful of trophies I lack -w-;

Actully,such said exaggerate the truth.what gov pay attention to ban is hostile political not violent,we even can watch happy tree friends.

However,land of the fat,LOL :D

we really are the land of the fat. ;v;

still, though, i can't really understand what would be "politically violent" about super smash brothers. i feel like they're reading a bit too much into it.

@pent: i have determined that you would get along wonderfully with Steve. he follows the Game Grumps fervently and has unlocked all the characters on SSB for the 3DS, about 2 days after getting the game. -w-;

@cocks: yay! what's he like? : D

welp, shit's getting worse as it gets better. my hand is all fixed up, and i spent all of yesterday with Steve (we MEANT to watch a movie, but then we kept falling asleep on top of each other -w-; ), but my grandpa is still quite miserably sick with the shingles and i may or may not go with him to the doctor today (if he goes today, he may go tomorrow). i'm gonna do some grocery shopping for him later. ;^;

we may also make grape jelly tomorrow. :0

Nice; maybe I'll get to meet him during my trip next year :3
(I used to follow Game Grumps, but kinda lost interest after JonTron left, although I still occasionally watch it)

Chocofreak13

still, something to discuss. ^^

so i had an awkward-as-hell conversation with my cousin earlier. she decided to remind me "no friends here today" because my grandpa is so sick. i got this look on my face as i recounted to myself that she was more likely to have friends over than i was, and told her that it wasn't my choice to bring Arty over the other night (i had my grandpa's car. i needed to get to mum so we could drive her home, and then go home ourselves.), and that i REALLY wasn't expecting Karen to take 2 fucking hours just to get ready (i wasn't even expecting her to eat, fucking period), so i wouldn't really call that "bringing a friend over". i then told her that none of my friends are even around today, i would NEVER think to bring a friend over when he's like this, and even *I* feel bad about being here (to which she was like "oh no honey, don't you feel bad about being here".....condescending bitch).

considering i can count the times i've brought people here in the past 4 years ON ONE HAND, i really feel like she was out of line there.  i'm pretty pissed at her, but i'm not gonna dwell on it. and if anyone's at fault for the other night, it's my mum. why the fuck she chose to eat, socialize, and then clean for 45 minutes is beyond me.

(not to mention if my cousin decides it's "family only", that's pretty relative, since i don't really consider half my "family" ACTUAL family.)

Nichi

Indeed. I hate people like that >_>;

Currently waiting on the rain to let up, so I can go do stuff :\

Chocofreak13

i hope it does, man.

also, i'm feeling less and less like i should be here. since grampy's sick, the parade of family is coming through, and i KNOW i'm going to be getting backlash from all sides for one reason or another (why aren't you helping grampy more!? [because i'm the only one that helps him on a regular basis, you bitch.]; why aren't you doing anything!?! [because i don't want to treat him like a damn invalid, if you were around AT ALL you'd know he hates that.]; why haven't you gotten a job or something!? stop mooching off grampy!! [i don't mooch, i'm the one cleaning the fucking house, how about YOU give it a try once in a damn while!? and i HAVE a job, ya douchenozzle.] )

i'm gonna mention it to my mum, but i think i already know her response: "grampy needs the help, he's more important. just ignore it."

easy for you to say, biiiitch >>;
