Congrats on the new car! Buick's are amazing machines, run forever if you treat 'em well and the only thing that can kill them after that point would be rust.

Noticed that your Front Left Tyre is looking really low so you should go air up the tires first thing once you are on the road. Also, that looks like a 5th gen? No way its a 6th gen with its boxy shape so you could be running a variety of engines in there...probably a 2.8L V6 or the classic 3.0L Buick V6 which should give you plenty of hauling power.

If you ever go for a drive over the AMAZING PENNDOT ROAD SYSTEM* of West PA make sure to let me know!

*PennDOT barely maintains the roads around here so huge potholes can be found around every corner and amazing amounts of rust inducing salt rots you from the inside out

mmm, my sister's has a serious rust problem, which is really making things hard on her right now (hell, when she got the thing, there was a hole rusted in the trunk floor).

Katja's in pristine condition, though. the old lady who owned her before never took her out of town, and always kept her in a garage. so somehow, she's a 1996 with no rust and just over 45k miles. her interiour's immaculate, and even has cupholders.

and yeah, i was a bit concerned about the tire, too, so i'm gonna mention that tomorrow. the most we're going to do with her atm is bring her in the garage and put some wax on her.

HDx. No camera on the new HD. Amazon's latest models are confusing with names. Here, have a table:

Old Model New Model
Kindle Fire Kindle Fire HD
Kindle Fire HD Kindle Fire HDx
Kindle Fire HD 8.9 Kindle Fire HDx 8.9

Also, if a case says "Works with latest Kindle Fire HD", it does not mean it does. My sister bought a case for her's, and it turned out to be for the 2012 HD (which in 2013 all the Kindle Fire models were redesigned, making it useless for her)

South Carolina, yes. We had beautiful snow for around a week.

I've always been a GM fan and intend to keep my Olds forever.

Nichi

@Kari: Nice on the car :3
Also, from what I remember, your sister's car had less rust than every vehicle I've ever owned ^^;

@subject of snow: It's pretty much spring here, so no more snow ;___;

stewartsage

Are snow's nearly gone, thankfully.

Huh?

stewartsage

It is poorly maintained, causing severe vibrations as you traverse the half-tarred together roadway.

Bella

Ohhhh.

That sounds nauseating. -_-;

MY EVERYTHING HURTS
WHY THIS STUPID HALF-MELT SNOW
GEAHAHHA
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

EVERY. DAY.

Then you see the typical pothole that takes up half of a single lane on a dual carriageway corner so you have to watch out for people jumping in your lane half way to avoid it...
