So there are 6 people in my game programming class.
We're split into two teams of 3.
The 3 members of (let's call them) "Team A" have been present every class.
The two other members of "Team B" - MY TEAM - have been missing every class but one.
One of the members of my team has FALLEN OFF THE FUCKING FACE OF THE EARTH, my instructor hasn't been able to fucking contact her at all in like 2 weeks, and if she doesn't reappear she's gonna be dropped. This is really fucking weird since this is her final semester. So it's not like a case of freshman being overwhelmed by class and dropping out. She's pretty heavily invested.
The other member of my team is going through very serious shit involving his terminally ill mother, I guess she's really his only relative, so I don't want to trash him, but it would still be nice if he would answer my emails or at least show a cursory interest in getting through this class (which my instructor assured me he definitely wants to do).

So, was out with mom and my sister, taking a look at some random thrift stores. Now, to try and finish Sonic 3D Blast, then pack up for grandma's office (To download new KLK, and hopefully finish downloading Robot Chicken), and then work later on.

oh goood, i'm SO FUCKING TIRED (physically, mentally, psychologically, and metaphorically). i just finished picking through the bones of The Moonlit Trod, a changeling fan site that went down in about 2002 after its owner stopped being able to afford it (costs piled up combined with a waning interest in the site, plus she lost her job, fell into debt and ended up on welfare, it was very sad, really). in it, i found some stuff i already had, some interesting stuff, some old stuff (a name generator made for windows 95/NT and 'command-line ready', and some dice rolling applications for your Palm Pilot.....it was just darling xD ), and over 100 original stories based on changeling. it's so much, that i'm actually going to add a whole new section to my wiki called The Great Storybook which will house all of these, as well as any other stories i may come across (including mine, when i copy them into the computer).

either way, though, i think i'm going to go to bed simply because i just don't know where to begin with this and i think i'm better off starting fresh tomorrow.

So, off work until Monday. I'm tempted to go see the Lego Movie this weekend, but I first have to see how big my check is (As I intend on going to the recycling place to find a suitable laptop to become Asagi II in a few weeks; likely after I pay car insurance)

EDIT: Leaving Asagi at grandma's office overnight, to try and finish this one damn download. Starting to regret starting it, with how agonizingly slow it is  :\

EDIT2: On the positive, that download is almost finished. On the negative, I think I just wasted $30; as the card I bought isn't letting me renew my phone and is demanding I call their help line in India or whatever. If it's down to that, I'll let the fucking phone go and buy another >_<;

EDIT3: Somehow, doing it from their website instead of on my phone made it work :\

EDIT4: Finally finished that torrent. I think I'm going to avoid big torrents on Asagi until I successfully upgrade her; restricting myself to smaller stuff like new Space Dandy or KLK
