So, as a random bit I thought about when I got home, I was looking in the manual for my copy of Magic Knight Rayearth for Saturn; noticing two things of note:

1: In the director's commentary at the back of the manual, they say "this will likely be the last Sega Saturn game released in the US". Sure enough, they were right -w-;
2: Also looking in the manual, I found a receipt from the previous owner picking up their preorder of this game from a Gamestop  in Wisconsin back in December 1998 xD

Me & My partner were apart this Valentines (he couldn't move in time), but I baked in his honor. Made a "Walnut Forte with Spiced Rum Syrup"... Would be better of I could share it with him though...

Yeah Pent, send me a list sometime of stuff you're looking for.  Their prices seem decently reasonable for consoles, but GB/GBC and GBA prices seem a little steep for some games.

On the subject of weird finds in games/books, I got my brother a library discarded book at a sale last year and there was a receipt tucked inside showing he was the last person to check it out yeeeeears previous.  Also, a friend is having a Firefly RPG game and I'm not invited but he does want all my collected material for it.

You know what really sucks?  Due to the constant storms slamming New England this winter, there has been a lot of ice accumulating on the roof of my house. And guess what? I was supposed to go to Church today(I have the live stream up now), but now there's a leak in the front room and I have to stay home and keep emptying the bucket of water every 10 minutes or so. In other words- the winter of 2014 can officially die and rot in Hell.

Well, at least I can have the drops of water make a little tune in one of the red cups in the box my family has.

that said, i feel your pain somewhat. got snowed in during the trip to CT two weeks ago, and today i went out to shovel and about 10 minutes in i slipped, fell, and fucked up my wrist. winter! : D

(I would have used Asagi instead, but she's back at grandma's office trying to download the newest Space Dandy, so I took Sara with me)

Have a bit of a headache, to be honest; mostly brought on by this kid who was super-loud and didn't know how to shut up for longer than 2 seconds, even with his mom trying to get him to shut up so she can hear what I'm trying to tell her >_<;
