I'm on a train!  Next to a giant cemetery in Arbutus, MD at this moment heading into Baltimore aboard the Vermonter.  I drank a lot of tea this morning that was alright; not much flavor but oh well.  Also downed a hotel room size pot of coffee that was pretty awful.  Also oh well.

Hopefully I'll be with Bells and her dad in like, nine hours.

Have fun, man. Say hi to Bella's Mac 128K for me when you see it, since I didn't get a chance to see it during my trip :3

New Jersey was awful.  New York is just dark holes, a ditch, and LIRR trains to me.

EDIT: RECOGNIZABLE LANDMARKS

So I installed Roland Virtual Sound Canvas 3.2. Apparently everyone thinks it's such a god-awful GM MIDI wavetable, but I like the instruments especially the drums. I'd post a link to it but it might be against the rules.

EDIT: Got rid of it, YXG is way better.

Chocofreak13

i don't think so, the only things that we really had rules against posting links to was pirated downloads, and even then everyone torrents here anyway so it's kind of a moot point. i'd say post away, my friend~

though tbh idk if anyone else here plays with sound synths. i for one can't stand the sound of midis, but maybe that's due to an old grudge involving a certain game soundtrack....

Wow the Hartford station is ugly.  It's just like a chunk of red granite sitting there.

Nichi

@Leaf: I think some people might be interested in that :3
@Kari: I know what you mean, but there are some MIDIs that sound nice. A good example would be the original MS-DOS version of Doom; which kicks ass -w-
@Stew: Sounds crappy. Hope you get to Bella soon :\

So guys, I have a PlayStation with the portable screen. A surprise find, and for $30, I couldn't pass -w-
Now I can play Thousand Arms in my room, with a small PlayStation beside 2k

Not really, it's been a great trip.  Not like I had to stare at the station for long anyway.

Western Mass reminds me a lot of home from what I can see.

Nichi

I've never been in that corner of Mass; I generally hovered around the Boston area during my trip ^^;
(Or if I was in that area at one point, I didn't know it LOL)

Bella

LIVE-BLOGGING @OSC FROM A TRAIN? WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!

Gonna leave to pick Stew up in a minute here.

Nichi

Hope you two are having fun now ^^

@Stew: Don't forget to say "hi" to Bella's Mac 128K for me

Chocofreak13
