It's autumn. The season of storms, and war.

It's in the spirit of the season to fight in October! ^_^

truedat, but still, i wish we could be less sensitive around each other. be willing to say what we really feel without fear of retaliation. :\

haha I like you Nejin.

I used to tiptoe around eggshells when around certain people in high school/college.  I guess I'm kinda used to it, although I imagine there's some subconscious self-censoring that even I'm not aware of anymore.

In any case, I'm okay with arguments. I've been involved with many, particularly at high school. But as I believe I've mentioned before, we were still friends, and could care less that my friend was a commie. I mean, excuse me, a socialist. lol
Sure, at first, people will try to persuade people of differing opinions, and the debate might get very heated. Eventually, one or the other will convert to the other or compromise their point of view somewhat. If not, well, that's when you do the "agree to disagree" part. You may never understand each other, and that's okay.

For my friends and me in high school, it was best to make fun of each other than to vilify each other. If possible, we tried to do so in a comedic, over-the-top fashion as well. You make your differences known, and at the same time, open yourself up to be made fun of. Therefore, people don't try to get to a superior position over the other. We all have differing opinions yet put ourselves at an equal standing (for the most part, we're not perfect) with the rest.

Of course you don't have to do it exactly like that, but a respect for a different opinion, even if "HE/SHE'S F'ING WRONG!!", is paramount.

I think the Sleepy one put it best

Well, today's gotten off to a better start than I expected, so that much is good :3

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Suddenly feeling sick >_<

EDIT 2: Feeling much better after lunch. Also, even more so when I found out I'm still going to receive unemployment pay; which takes some stress off of me. Now, to continue trying to find a job ^_^

Bella

Speaking of finding jobs..... my dad was doing some part-time-job-hunting today and then started to get on my case about not having (part-time) work. :/ He's brow-beat/motivated me into getting job applications at a few places... a ski resort, a pizzeria, a mini-mart/pizza shop/gas station, and I'm probably gonna apply at Dunkin Donuts and a few other places around town. I really don't know if i'll find anything, but I guess it would be nice to have some money coming in.

Nichi

Good luck :3

So, tomorrow night I'll have the house to myself. Party will happen...on the internets, of course

Chocofreak13

@bella: don't let him browbeat you too much. that's just rude. and my mum is doing that to me, and it sucks.

though i could really picture you working at that ski place. :0

@pent: glad to hear things got better. and WHOO

So, the group call didn't happen; since it seemed like everybody was busy, and Kari was feeling tired. Maybe next time :\

But, since the call didn't happen, I decided "screw it" and went to Wal-Mart late at night on a quest for a better-fitting bra ^_~

Bella

Happy National Coming-Out Day everyone! Though I think I may've gotten an inadvertent start on the festivities when I kind of admitted to being pan-curious to my dad a few days ago....... he reacted with absolutely zero surprise. As expected.

....Speaking of whom, now dad and Stew are browbeating/motivating me into finding work. And going to college, even if it's just a community college at this point.

Nichi

@Bella: I admit, once I have a job again, I had considered seeing what my hometown's community college offers in the way of classes I might be interested in. If it's not too expensive, I might still be able to do that and continue on with my plans on moving out :3

Also, since you brought up being pan-curious, sometimes I think I might be somewhat bi-curious >w>;

Chocofreak13

that's hot. :0

hm, we're supposed to be coming out with different things?

well, you guys already know i'm bi, so what can i admit.....oh yeah! the guy i'm into asked me if i'd ever be interested in a 3-some with a mutual friend (a girl) the other night, and i have to admit the thought is intriguing.

i've said too much. >>;
