I'm stalking a Power Mac G5 dual core I found for a sweet deal.

Nah, they're both repairable and not slashed.  Just terrible weather and stuff or something.

Classes: Registered for.

I just voted in the coming parliamentary elections. <3

stewartsage

Voting hooray!

I've been reading yuri doujin for hours; this is what happens when there's no one around to talk to.

Trying to learn The Ice Is Getting Thinner from DCFC on guitar... that pattern isn't as easy as it looks.

No bbcode tags in thread titles. Sad nejin. ;_;

Quotes for the day:

"You should hire that Russian dude to help build the house! We all know how renown Russians are for their craftsmanship!"

I suppose Linux deserves a happy birthday as well.

Chocofreak13

happy birthday linux, russians are strong, angry, awesome people.
@nej: sorry to hear that. ;^;
@bells: i'd like to, but the client my sister uses to combine all her online messaging accounts doesn't have a skype option. >__<
and tanky is running windows 98SE. i left a webpage open for 15 minutes, and it didn't load, proving the point that just because something CAN get wireless, doesn't mean it SHOULD.

i thought i was stressed before, but today i learned that i might be failing ANOTHER class. >_<;; the only upside is 1. we only have 4 weeks left and 2. i managed to get the midterm i have to make up pushed to next week.
i also get to visit a mentor's gallery show tomorrow. :3

btw, i learned today that a woman holds the guiness world record for couponing by buying $1500 worth of groceries and only paying 50ยข. :\

/Is sad that she can't talk with Kari-sama. ;_____;

Might be working in Waltham in a few weeks. Well, the family will be working - I'm taking off and wandering the area, might go museum-hopping, maybe go to the Charles River Museum of Industry and see if that chunk of Whirlwind core memory is still there and do some proper computer ancestor-worshipping~ .W.

Chocofreak13

take pictures!

and i'm sorry bells, hopefully speeds will be back online soon, i need to buy an expansion card for her. :\

Why not just use a wired connection? D:

I switched from wireless to wired when my wireless router quit - I had to buy a 30ft piece of ethernet cable to run from the modem in the living room to my desk, but it was worth it. (And only like $20, instead of $100+ for a new router.)

But yeah, if I go I'll take pix. (And if I find that chunk of Whirlwind, I'll get somebody to take a photo of me with itttttttttt~~~) >w<

Chocofreak13

niiiiiiice -w-

and the router is in the basement. i only managed to hook up a wired connection from here to there once, and i had to disconnect the main computer from it, and stretch a 25-ft cable around walls, up stairs, and across rooms (in midair). needless to say, barely possible, not practical, and never smart. :\
