How Atari wanted to acquire all Amiga technology due to the debts of Amiga Inc.

How Amiga Inc. persuaded Jack Tramiel of Commodore to buy OVERPRICED all Amiga shares

(Because Jack hated so much Atari management who fired him and wanted to get back its Atari place)

The days of CAOS (Commodore Amiga Operating System) and why it was canceled (because it lacked so little time to Amiga presentation) and the reason it was used TRIPOS adapted to create AmigaDOS and Amiga Filesystem...

And finally....

The great story of the gorgeous Amiga presentation in 1985 at Lincoln Center in New York...

Ladies in long dresses, Gentlemen in black dresses, an entire Symphonic Orchestra...

The section about the long dresses reminds me of a drawing I haven't finished yet (ME-tan + Amiga-tan).  ^^'

Reading that, though, I'm not sure there was much hope for Amiga-chan's future.  Between Atari and Commodore, during the dawn of their more imbecilic years,........ geez, why not ask her if she wants to be food poisoned with raw chicken or spoiled sushi?  @v@;

But luckily she eventually survived the fight to adopt her that it started between Atari and Commodore...

In the incoming part 5 of the history of Amiga entitled "Postlaunch Blues", you will read how Jack Tramiel left Commodore to return to Atari and leave there a complete stupid and unprepared management board...

After Jack tramiel jhad left Commodore, the management board was completely unprepared, and they can't figure what computer is Amiga, and what is capable to do...

Commodore ran out of funds, and they produced only 50 Amigas in the first 6 months...

So Commodore fails to sell Amigas in stores for Christmas 1985, have no money for advertising and could not afford Comdex and Chicago CES, Computer Electronic Show, (the very big exhibits in USA, and in those times these were HUUUGE exhibits, and far more important than today)...

You will read how the CEO of Commodore named  Marshall Smith a former manager from industry of Iron and Stell sold the entire Portable Computers department of Commodore, and how the new CEO Thomas Rattigan was forced to sell many departments of Commodore, and fire up many emplooyes to gain again the trust from the Banks and investors, and start producing Amigas, and how he was good in introducing low end Amigas (A500) and High End Amigas (A2000)...

You will read how the production of Amiga was stopped due to a fuc**ng bad word embedded in an Easter Egg combination of keys, and many many more curiosities and terrible situations history that prevent Amiga from entering directly the market and became a big hit-machine!

In part VI, intitled "Stopping the Bleeding" We will see how CEO Rattigan stopped the short balance of funds of Commodore by selling many departments, such as a corporate firm of Commodore manufacturing portable computers such as C64 Executive...

(This is why then Commodore was uncapable to produce any laptop Amigas)

Rattigan sold many departments and fired lots of people at Commodore, but he saved the company.

He also had the idea of produce a low end machine (Amiga500) and a hi-end machine desktop computer complete with slots (Amiga2000).

Then he was fired himself  ;015 by Irving Gould, the tycoon who was the main investor funding Commodore.
