I guess the English publications use some other romanization than I do, dropping either the macron or circumflex accent. ã,ãƒ§ã,¦ (from the title) and ç‹, (the title character's name) are both (in wÄpuro rÅmaji) Kyou. In the Hepburn romanization, they would be KyÅ.
