yeah.....i found the power cable to Tanky, who's running Windows 98. that's about it, unless i can find a way to "fix the computer" like in fairly oddparents, i doubt i'll get my typewriter online.

there's an ad for a macbook air in the paper that i wish was a bit cheaper. it'd be a great computer for my mum, but $800 is a bit much. (they bought it for $1000, but honestly, it feels a bit excessive.)

i don't want it, though the air IS kinda cool, or at least it looked like it from the commercials i saw. also looks fragile as fuck. as i said in the previous post, i wish it was cheaper so MY MUM could have a shot at it. she wants her own laptop SO BAD. ;^;

Well does she like the actual computer or Mac OS X? Because if I recall correctly people build computers from scratch called a 'Hackintosh' that has all the necessary parts for a standard Mac computer that can let you run OS X on it. Who knows? Maybe you can find a guy or do it yourself...?

It's more that her mom wants a laptop; not really caring what OS it runs. Maybe if she's interested, I can refurbish a laptop for her, like I did for Kari :3
