That's weird. I remember trying to install it, but I had to force it into NT 4.0 compatibility mode and hope it works; otherwise, installation would fail. Even then, it would spew out errors as I used it

Maybe Windows 7 can do it, but XP can't. Just one of those weird things...

i had a game from 1997 installed on speedy. needed to be run in compatibility mode for either windows 95 or 98, but it worked fine. logic says that you should be able to do the same with most other programs from that period.

(if reversi survived the upgrade process from 1.0 to 7, other things can survive too. :3)

True :3

So far, one thing has struck a bad cord with me is the new logo for Windows 8

It looks so...bland and half-assed, making me weary of the OS as a whole.

Still going to try it out, of course, before I pass judgement, but everything I'm seeing so far points toward it not being that good :\

Chocofreak13

looks like a 4th grader made it in MS paint. :\

I'd use them if I could get driver support, but only as a laptop/netbook OS.

Well, if I can't eCS, I'd go with Windows 7 or 2000. As for Macs, between Snow Leopard and OS9, I'm covered :3

Okay, I lied, I'm not switching to BSD, I'll probably go back to Ubuntu since I'm lazyasfuck like that.
