Haha! Np :D When some people on our vent channel found out a bunch of us on there were Canadian they mentioned the whole aboot thing (instead of about) so now we bug em with it every so often tossing in aboot and eh and such (though we don't use them in our regular speech) :P. Tis fun stuff.

My cousin talked about going to the House of Torment while I was there, but my brother decided it was lame, so he (my cousin) and I just went to a party instead.  The Alamo?  You mean Drafthouse?  My brother's a manager there, it's pretty awesome (I've got a deal of swag, I might post pics of sometime).  I wanted to see Religulous myself, but sadly it never happened.  I'm normally not that big a fan of Mahers, but the trailers for the movie really turned me around.

QuoteI can't wait to move back. <3 Oh, and I got my first, erm "bedroom aide" there that wasn't mechanical in some way.

That's interesting because I went to my first gentlemen's club while I was there, lol.

Wow, The House of Torment was utterly awesome. I assure you the reason he said it was "lame" was because he more than likely got scared by the promo videos they have going on in front of the house. And the 15 foot tall demon in front did it, as seen here -

It was quite funny seeing all the tough 13 year olds puffing themselves up, and then coming out shaking and scared. One kid even pulled a fire alarm instead of telling the monsters, like you're supposed to, to get out.

I. . . got very "happy" in my pants. Fear is my utter turn on. I was scared, I was dripping with sweat, and I would have let 50 overweight Asian men take a run at me. at the end.

my roomate had been back and forth from washington to texas half a dozen times now, moving to texas cus he had do, and moving back cus he couldnt stand it.  Texas tis not for everyone I guess

Pfftt, no. I got Chloroform for that. I got a 8 inch, red, lifelike "toy" if you will, who is named "Superman" for the name. And yeah, you have to be a special mix of independent, crazy, nerd guru to live in Texas. Everything is spread out, and if you don't like long drives you are screwed.

My cousin said the House of Torment was awesome too.  He went there with a couple of girls and this one guy.  It was funny because my cousin is this huge guy and going through the place the guy kept hiding behind him, har.  Um, I, ahem, like being scared too, but things just didn't work out Halloween... sadly.  Actually I spent most of my time in Austin going to concerts at Emo's and Red 7, I saw High on Fire, Opeth, Devin the Dude, mc chris, Method & Red, Brujeria, and I even went to Fun, Fun, Fun Fest (which was more dust, dust, dust than fun).  I also saw pro wrestler Mark Henry at the Method & Red concert at Emo's, and he is freaking huge.  I should also note that while I love metal, I learned that I'd much rather be in a crowd of hip-hop fans than metalheads -__-;.

ehh that would be a bad place for me.. when it comes to being scared I always get the fight reaction not the flight.  Someone jumps out at me and they might get hurt before I relize what im doing =_=

I ask myself here, should I try making a tsukkomi, just react normally or ignore this altogether?
I end up deciding against any kind of reply, because FUCKMYKNEESTHEYHURTSOBAD ;__;

I got the feeling from Austin that it's more of a Deadhead place, with some grunge or techno thrown in when it's drunk.

In short, Austin is a awesome place, and I love seeing where everyone is from!

Tsukkomi?  I assume he was considering admonishing you from a perceived lack of modesty or subtlety o__O?

Austin is a music city, so you find all kinds.  I wasn't really referring to the natives, it was just my time in Austin was my first time going to any show.  So I wasn't accustomed to the stupidity that often accompanies the adolescents who attend metal shows.  Still High on Fire/Opeth was a great show, even if the venue was really, really lame (butterflies hanging from the ceiling, WTF?! this isn't a damn prom) and the crowd was filled with idiots (a number of whom I got to watch get escorted out, lulz).

Well, I doubt you would want to see where I'm from, but indeed Austin is a great place.

Glad to see a Russian in here... If you have the same sense of humour as i do, this could be fun... we could crack jokes about the Yankees here... ^_^

Naah, seriously though, once you look beyond the prejudice you see a nice country with lots of lovely nature (photographer, so i look at those things) and a very interesting culture (more sympathetic with former CCCP than with most NATO countries, wich is fun, cuz i'm joining the airforce ^_^)...

Of course i have good sense of humour^^ (Nejin, we like joking about USSR too, so don't worry;))) Yes it's very nice country with beautiful nature (especially on it's northern part, for example, the Far East or Karelia) but the main disadvantage of it, I think, is cold weather (practically 6 month of snow, wind and rain).
I traveled a lot and visited many countries such as Spain, Portugal, France, Germany (only 1 day in Berlin so I actually don't remember it quite well), Andorra, the Netherlands and England (in each of them I've been 3 days, but at that period I've loved them^^) practically the whole Eastern Europe. Wish to go to the USA some day. I just want to be international person, that's all)))
