FUCKEN SERIOUSLY

That's overpricing at a HUGE scale, man. My 100/10 broadband costs me less than 30$/mo, and even that is slightly overpriced...DAMN.

It's what I get for livin' in Wisconsin.

NejinOniwa

Well, I guess.

Solution: Move to yurop, the lands of almost-free broadband. -w-

I absolutely hate broadband, cable all the way!

NejinOniwa

Cables strangle you.

Broadband is wide enough to just wrap you up like an enormous pink ribbon, and just like it make you feel very, very fabulous. <3

As I said on the runes of magic forums:

QuoteSadly, AT&T DSL did nothing but screw me over when I had them. Always disconnected at 1-2 in the morning, constantly had the router blinking red light throughout the day (sometimes it connected, other times it didn't.) And whenever someone called or if someone called from my place to another place, the connection would usually drop. Tried to get support for the issues, but they always seemed to resolve it, but it always came back the next few days.

I've boycotted DSL ever since.

not to mention, I had to pay about 30 USD a month for crappy 1 mbps service

mbison

I have one adsl @ 2mbps, one 3g card @ 3.5mbps and a cable conection @ 1mbps, nothing above the average.

DaemonParasite

2.5 Mbit DSL line, it's ok, I guess, I don't download things very often.

Bigbishounen

time warner here, 3mb down, 12 mb up.  Highest available residential speeds.

Friendkiller

Download: 1mbit/s
Upload: 192kbit/s

Up until yesterday, I had 512/65 connexion, but now... I am not surfing, but flying through the net. Of course, that will last for a few days, than it'll feel slow again... You can't satisfy the need 4 speed...
My, my, what do I see...

NejinOniwa

Why do I feel so ashamed of myself when I think 10mbit/10mbit is slow?

I think I know now.

Smokey

Ah, we (the dutch) will be getting 120Mbit/s soon (end of the year bandwidth is upped to 50Mbit/s and beginning next year it will GOTO 120 and beyond)... But that's broadband cable, i always thought ADSL would explode bandwidth-wise...
I dont tell you how to tell me what to do, so dont tell me how to do what you tell me to do... Bender the Great) :/

Added after 1 minutes:

Speaking of which, in the student apartment I'll be living, I'll be paying 150 SEK (which is approx 20$) a month for 100/10 broadband...
