you should try instituting some type of "you need to be an active member to see/or download pics" type of thing...

 You were noticed by me as well, though you should really thank Google for that, as you came up pretty high in the search results, and anything that doesn't look a blatant redirect or spam-bomb, I'll click to check out.

Pleasantly suprised, and it's great not to have to stare at my status bar to be able to read in English what the hell I'm about to click on. I can't read a word of Japanese, I could only speak very basic Japanese back in High School, and on the internet that's about as useful as a poop-flavored lollipop (to steal a line from "Dodgeball").

Good selection of images here, and you seem to give equal time to each Tan, which is a really good thing. I am a new OS-Tan fan, having just found out about their very existence some 4 days ago through the magic of Wikipedia. I set out trying to find any kind of images and such on them that would teach me more about them; I actually found your site a day or two ago, I just have yet to visit and really poke about until tonight.

Unfortunately, I do not know any other OS-Tan fans; most of the people I know would look at me quite oddly if I showed them something like this (and some of those buggars are Furries, for God's Sakes), so I am afriad this will have to be a singular love on my part, in that I can not direct any further eyeballs this way for now.

And now I've made this post unecessarily long. My apoligies. I will try to pop in and out and chat with you all if you would enjoy my company. Lats.

 hmmm...how do you think we can increase the popularity of the site? anyone have any ideas?

 Get a larger site to host your banner for a few days. It was always good for 500-1,000 more visits in a 3 day period for me, even if I asked a mediocre (in popularity) site to host my banner.


I usually just wrote the webmaster a nice e-mail, asking if he or she would please consider linking to me for a few days somewhere on their site, for a small traffic boost. On occasion I ran into a jerk, but the majority of people I asked would appreciate the honest, polite tone (as most people tend to demand things online it seems), and grant me my request.


I'd target sites that host fan art and the like, or webcomics that are related somehow.
