Well okay, I did use some Inkscape in the first one (to vector sketch).  However, converted it to a PNG, then passed it on to Aurora-hime for actual drawing and shading in PS.  I received them once more to handpaint the backgrounds (landscaping is about the only thing I can do decently enough by hand), then shot it right back to Aurora-hime for post-production.

With Comic 2, we swapped roles:

Aurora: hand sketched
C-chan: inked  and colored
Aurora: BGs and shading (in Inkscape this time)
C-chan: post-production

A reminder that main series of ZS isn't dead despite there not being a new page in more than 2 months:

Darwin OS-tan appears and places an order for a pizza with a special topping. Something rather unusual, live bugs to be exact! While waiting, she reunites with OSX-tan! Meanwhile outside, Fark-tan sets up her own hot dog stand! The "Weeners" logo is a giant version of the "Weeners" tag from Fark!

And... I FOUND CARMEN SANDIEGO!!

Ohohoho! I didn't miss it. I saw it, just forgot to put it in my last post (lazy lazy). Anyway, my opinion: Cute, I see Chainsaw Linux-tan's putting her instruments to good use. I also see something here that ties it to the FOSA. (BSOD Begone!)

If (and that's a big IF) I ever manage to create stuff for mugen. (I'm currently studying up on it.) The Byte Me Pizzaria and the FOSA kitchen are going to be my first OSC based stages.

Yeah, Foobies-tan starting the "Weeners" hot dog stand would be even scarier although more 'accurate' (Fark rarely, if ever uses the "Weeners" tag anymore but Foobies does). Even scarier would be if Fark-tan tried to make a spin-off restaruant with a similar naming convention to the Byte Me called... the "Fark this!" or "Fark you!" ;006

As for how Fark-tan's hot dog stand will do, well... gotta stay tuned for next time!

Panel 8 is really sweet, and we get to see OS X and Darwin-chan's resemblace! Though technically, I can't help but think OS X-san should be calling Darwin-chan "Darwin-sama/sensei"

Fark-tan selling weeners is funny, too. I wonder how it'll turn out XD

It's great that you're working to learn how MUGEN games work.  Considering I want to study to become a Linux developer (there's no such thing as an old *Nix guru), I can't help but encourage anyone's efforts to learn something creative, fun and constructive.  ^^

AOL-tan brings along a 'nice lady' that delivers a valentine to 98-tan. However, AOL-tan is unaware that the so-called 'nice lady' is a virus-tan! Upon recieving the loveletter, 98-tan is in a dilemma: To open the letter or not? ME-tan and AOL-tan want her to, 2K-tan advises against it and 95 OSR 2.5-tan is jealous that she didn't get a letter!  (oh, but only if she knew...)
