Looks like it........ but no bananas.  :P

We're talking C++ from within KDevelop.  ^___^
Will play with Qt4-Designer a little later.  ^v^

Bella

I wish I knew what the heck was going on in that screenshot :P

Smokey

Well...C-chan was smart enough not to show any kode, so i wouldn't know what he's building, either...

You want more Kooooooooooooooode????  I'LL GIVE YOU MORE KOOOOOOOOODE!!!  BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!  ^V^

*more evil laughter*

Nah just kidding.  Here you go [attached below], but as you can see it's nothing really.  In fact,... the program is literally that,... nothing.  ^__^

It's the first part of a really good tutorial that I'm beginning to read that will help me learn how to use Kdevelop and QT Designer, the two main programs needed to create KDE programs:

http://women.kde.org/articles/tutorials/kdevelop3/

(Oh and if you're wondering from the title, yes, the tutorial was made by an all-female staff it seems, or at least for the most part.)  ^^

Actually haven't gotten too far in it because I'm taking a little time off to learn the C programming language first, just so I can get better understand C++'s roots.  I should be done with its introductory book today.  ^___^

(and I've also been building a giant piñata for a friend's daughter, but that's another story)  ^.^

Gotta go, but will return later today for my usual visitation rounds.  ^^

In the meantime, a small screenshot of the newer KDevelop....

And the awesome QT4 Designer:

C-Chan

QT4 Designer is a Graphical User Interface design tool that works with QT4, the latest of an excellent cross-platform application development framework developed and dual-licensed by Trolltech.

The screenshot shows development work on Marble, which is a kind of no-frills mini-Google Earth that can be integrated into the new KDE4 desktop environment.

However, point of fact, Google Earth WAS built with QT, so I guess the similarity is not accidental.  ^___^

This is my current desktop.

No really, it is.

Oh, welcome back capt.

Smokey

@ Capt. That's even better than the one i had up untill 2 days ago...

@VDaab Windows XP with an old-school 2k look...sure takes be back to the days when windows became stable and efficient... :D

And as for my desktop....
Well, errm... errr.... Well it's Vista. I got my hands on one and i had to see what i was thrashing, and i have to say:...Big mistake...
It takes up a whole GB for the bloody desktop, it's also helping itself to the processor real good and the standard windows games (patience minesweeper etc) require hardware acceleration from my videocards!!!
So it sucks, if it weren't for the fact that my anime is flying in because uTorrent is going at 70k instead of 7k and my SLI finally works like a charm and i finally get good framerates in games...

Why is it so good if it sucks so hard...
*rips out hair and starts screaming*

Indeed. It was rather fun to program when I had to in uni. But at that time, I knew almost no C++ and could only compare it to the hideous TVision of TurboPascal.

Oh, wait...
Is that the same as the commodore-64?
Because that one taught me that programming languages on old stuff can be a real braincracker...

below is my so-so 'fancy' screen switch.. between the 4 desktops

next my rocketdock app for my desktop icons

nothing fancy..

NejinOniwa

You say "nothing fancy" but your imagery contradicts your statement, young chap!

Also, this N has now acquired some glorious widescreen LCD monitor. So now we've got DUALSCREENZ.
On that note, does anyone know howto fix different walls on the different monitors? Screws shit up for me as it is now.
