Man...If I were able to go to woodstock in '69, I would've partied so hard I'd need 39 years to recover from it :D

Now that you mention it...I could also post my craptop-screen, but it'd either be black cuz the monitor craps out all the time or it'd be a BSOD or generic error since the HDD is near death and it's full of virae and ad/spy/gray/malware...

Let's see what Linux makes of it... :D any suggestions for the distro? I currently only know Knoppix by the way... ;010

If the harddrive is nearly dead, I'd replace it ASAFP and get a small linux, probably damn small linux (even though it is horrible to update sometimes) or a Debianesque distro like Ubuntu.

I had almost all the hardware replaced some three times now, when it still had a warranty... All I know is: Be happy with it untill it dies for real, and DON'T BUY JEWEL NOTEBOOKS! (seriuosly, of the 500 our school bought, some, well ALL OF THEM died, over and over again (I had my entire mainboard "replaced", cost me â,¬113.- and I couldn't get the old one back, I know why...THOSE BASTARDS JUST SOLDERED THE BROKEN AUDIO-OUT PORT BACK ON!!! AND IT BROKE OFF AGAIN TWO DAYS LATER, AFTER I WAITED 6 FRIGGIN' MONTHS FOR IT TO RETURN!!!!!!) after 2 whole years of bad experiences the school has switched to Acers, wich actually work...

Added after 2 minutes:

BTW can Linux handle FAT-disks nowadays, cuz i remember it being a bit of a problem back when I used it...
