QuoteNope, just plain ol' ReactOS. ^____^

Download and try today! ^v^

Oh, I'd love to give it a try, yet I'm afraid of M$ goons XD

(BTW, I'm only half-joking)

So, is that running on you EEEPC?

Tsubashi

QuoteSo, is that running on you EEEPC?

I wouldn't think so. The EeePC's screen is closer to a 16:9 aspect ratio, as opposed to the 4:3 ratio of that last pic.
Then again, just a guess ^.^

And as long as I'm in the thread, I do believe I'm a bit overdue on my Gentoo screencap ^^'

Fufu.... Wrong on first 2 accounts, right on last one (Tsubashi's).  That ReactOS screenshot isn't mine, just one of the random desktops I pluck off the internet from time to time.

However, I did just download a copy (the installer version -- the LiveCD one doesn't seem to work) and tried it on my virtual machine.  Kinda cute,... but indeed, it's REMARKABLY similar to Windows 2000.  ^___^'

Have heard of attempts to install it on the EeePC, but with the usual outcomes of trying to install lesser-known stories (xyz works, but no wifi, ACPI, etc.).

Tsubashi-dono, your Gentoo is looking viewtiful.  ^____^

*stares gaping at Inkscape 0.46*

*SWOONS*.  XvX

Yes, I've decided that Gentoo is my favorite-est distro ever. Plus, I even got the close button on the correct side ^v^
I am somewhat glad to hear your reactOS liveCD didn't work either; I was a bit confused. I'll have to try the installer later

Nice screenshot! I see a little note next one of the buttons on Inkscape ;)

Isn't Gentoo a difficult distro to get running? I remember reading the kernel needs to be compiled before it can run...

You've tried ReactOS as well? Hmmm...

*to the bandwagon!*

I dunno...I've always like to get a bit of native flare when trying an OS. I've never really been too intrigued by clones or dopplegangers...

Hmmm...well....it is a bit NSFW....but it's a cyborg, so that makes it okay XD

If my desktop offend someone, I really sorry!!! For sure.
For me it's only a machine with human form.

Heehee. That was for C-chan-senpai. A while back we were talking and I made reference to the sculpt feature, entirely forgetting that it isn't in the current release. I figured, since I had it up I might as well make note, ne? ^v^

Well, Gentoo certainly isn't a point and click install (though I've heard there is a GTK graphical automation script...). It's well documented, and not very hard. It is definitely not a distro for people who are afraid of the command, though.
Plus, technically every distro needs a kernel compiled. The difference is whether you have a pre-compiled kernel, or whether you do it yourself.

QuoteYou've tried ReactOS as well?

I haven't given it a thorough run through yet, but yes I have. One can get very bored while waiting for a 4000 page document to print... -_-'

Fufu... speaking of which,...

I want my [Stable] Inkscape 0.46, and I want it,... NOW!!!  ^0^

*stamps foot*

In other news, I'm thinking of making Aurora-sama a B-day present and also simultaneously a rebuttal image for something else.

Then I thought of this ol' system here.....  ^___^

2 days ago i install the ReactOS, but never work
the live ISO and the Install ISO does't want to work on the Virtual PC 2007 or in the VMWare 5 Workstation Pro, if someone know how to run this OS in the emulator I'll give the thanks.

Try running the ReactOS install CD in this:

http://www.virtualbox.org/

Personally, I find it to be the best desktop virtual machine as far as performance, cross-platform compatibility, and price [=free] is concerned.  :)
And in any event, that's how it worked for me.

Speaking of which, here's me with VirtualBox running the latest gOS:

From what little I've seen so far, it looks like a BIG improvement over 1.0.  The dock is more OSX-style, the Google bar less annoying, the effects more polished and the layout more mature.  I definitely have to commend them for the quick and diligent improvements.

Bella

gOS 2.0 does look a ton better....I should have waited. Oh well...

Clearly I likes my shiny Mac themes...

It almost seems like you live in that *Buntu box,... you post it all the time.  ^___^
