NEVAH!!!111!!. Vista will be reinstalled for i have boughteth Shadowrun *i don't like waiting for a XP crack*, besides im sure the feisty Vistan didn't mean to do it, it's just the umm..... terrorist with there nukes and emps which must have damage the poor and defenceless Vistan ;_;. Theres no way the innocent and loveable Vistan would do it on purpose ;_;.

Them be the Velvets. They are made of Velvets and Megidolaon.

Dr. Mario

True. (pat on the back) Vistan is actually nice... T_T

(BTW, if you don't understand Japanese, Babel Fish website translator will also help. I forgot most kanji... ;_; )

Here it is;

(just use Website search part - it will translate it into english...)

*update*
I have tried this game - it looks reeeeeally good! (I have GeForce 7600GS
video card - with 512MB DDR2 - everything were rendered smoothly - And, Gin-sama, being rendered there, looks good, decent toon-shading. =) And, everybody's PC may be different than mine, so result won't be uniform, though.) - Also, be careful with AAx (anti-aliasing) bar, on some video card, it could crash. I put it up on full level (4x), anyways.

Fullscreen (shadows are being rendered with realistic exceptions from game itself - IT does look good!!!)

Oh, my raburi Gin-sama.  <3

Btw, that game reminded me of this game.

Dr. Mario

Okay, now - jumping back on the topic!
Here - my development sandbox.
(I was beginning to write a boot sector for GreenOmega -
this OS is also mentioned there in my thread, "if you could design OS....")

I swear I still have the feeling we've met before,... something about GOOS just sounds familiar.  -v-

You sure you didn't registere here before?  ^^

In any event, time for a little change of pace....

BEHOLD!!!  The world's most powerful operating system...!  ^0^

...that looks deceptively like the world's oldest.... ^_________^;

...until you see the kinda hardware she runs on.... ^^;

Dr. Mario

Hey, C-chan, Nice Cray system!!!
Yes, it used powerful OS. Now we can use Cray's oldest OS (because our computer's already faster enough to support - even PlayStation 3 can run it.) although emulator's stress-inducing hardest to find.

My two of the screenshots I have of my Ubuntu Fesity Fawn dual boot with xp.
(whited out parts are my system name and my external ip adress, just in case you wanted to know)
Might post my XP Home screencaps later.

C-Chan

Kewl!  Another Linux user!  ^v^

Mo' Linux is all good!  ^__^

Have you tried installing Compiz-Fusion yet?
I hear the beta's relatively easy to install on Feisty.

I myself have Xubuntu Feisty on my primary computer as a backup, although I'm still a PCLOS pig!  ^___^

kman89zero

i have not tried compiz-fusion yet, but my friend already has it installed and says its great. I have both beryl and compiz installed on my Ubuntu, along with Metacity, but neither compiz nor beryl work due to my graphics card being horrible. I only left them installed because I actually installed Ubuntu Ultimate Edition 1.4 CD Gnarly Gnome which is essentially feisty with some cool stuff pre-installed.

C-Chan

Awesome!  Well, until I can get a better graphics card than this ATI Radeon X600,....................... [outload towards ATI website]  ATI RADEON X600......!!!!!  Â¬o¬

....I'll have to wait till the full release.  ^^

But the videos I've seen look unreal -- unless Leopard can pull off better eye candy, those graphics seem indomitable!  ^.^

On Xubuntu I managed to get decent native Beryl performance using just the Xorg drivers, but naturally it was never quite as fast.  On PCLOS, I have fast performance using the ATI legacy driver, but Beryl is not native (rather XGL, which means a lot of conflicts with video and other GL apps.  I've tried out the proprietary drivers from the ATI website, but although they've improved considerably they still suck.  ^___^;

In the meantime, I'm just living off of rudimentary KDE eye candy,... still waiting for KDE4 and permanent widgets.  ^v^;

Funny how my junk computer I recently gave away -- an old HP pavilion 1.4ghz with a Nvidia Geforce2 GTS -- managed to run Beryl better.  (albeit still on XGL)  ^^;
