I don't see why hearing people rave about a certain anime bothers you so much... when I hear my friends freaking out about a show, that's usually my indication that 1) They've found gold 2) I should check it out.

I'd have never considered watching Madoka Magica if Stewart hadn't mentioned it to me; Nej inspired me to check out Star Driver; and hearing you and Aurora say good things about PSG has made me want to give that a watch, too, even though it's something I normally wouldn't be interested in. ^^'

Actually, Britain lost to Napoleon during the Napoleonic Wars and he took over the island of Great Britain.  The government pulled back all its forces to the American Colonies and rebuilt.  So it's still Britain, just not IN Britain.
