i think im starting to be an apple fan x3 I'm saving up for an iPod touch since thats the closest thing to a mac that i can afford. for now im using mini vmac

It's not "Mac OS 7" it's "Mac System 7", and there's no point in running it in Classic Mac mode, System 7 was designed for a colour monitor.  If you want black & white, emulate System 4 or something...

And for the record, my System 7 Performa 6200 is hooked up to the net.

Don't worry about it; been using it for fourteen years or there abouts now and I slip up calling it OS 7 all the time.  Well, at least since OSX came out.  Just keep that in mind for the future!  Not sure if you can connect to the internet from a virtualized system; an actual Mac would require a dial-up internet account and a modem of course (none of mine do/did).

System 7 works just the same in B+W, minus the color-related features. Same goes for System 6, which is what I mainly use under Mini vMac.

I've found ROMS on Mac retrocomputing sites before, but don't know how to set them up under an emulator. Nor what Classic Mac emulators are available for OSX. >>;;

Good luck on saving up for a Mac! It's an awesome goal to have. I'm not sure what you have in mind (new or used, high performance or hobby machine), but always consider the used computer option; Macs tend age quite gracefully and can be found at reasonable prices.
