lulz. xD maybe 95 would be comfy in that then, with 3.1 residing as well?

Not really possible.  You could install DOS & 3.1, but as soon as you install Win 95, it'll upgrade DOS to v7.10 and trying to use 3.1 would be pointless.

Lookie here~!

Our resident old tech expert Red-Machine guided me through the whole OS/2 installation process, or actually, the prep for it. Formatting the virtual HD and opening up the OS/2 installation dialogue and all that. I wasn't sure that it installed properly-- it seemed to get stuck on the boot screen and I sorta gave up on it-- but after giving it another try, it turns out it just takes a looooooong time to boot up.

So yay, we did it! And I had been trying to figure out how to install it since, like, mid-December. Dx I think it was a good experience, now I have a better understanding of how older non-bootable OSes are installed, at least the Windows-ish ones (although I imagine those early Linux distros were the similar at least in principle, only with Minix or Unix being installed first instead of MSDOS).

Look at that messy thing. Currently going though 101 touhoumon and giving them shiny sprites. What a horrible mess I've made.
