Ah, okie.

I remember at my school, in our 6th Form computer room the PC closest to the door hadn't been set up properly.  When you logged on, via a shittoon of shared folders you could access the user areas of all the students and staff!  We used it to send notes to people and fill their shares with junk. XD

Lol i was gone for a bit then when i returned i saw there was a big speculation about what my 2 monitors are XD And congratz to you guys, you were right! One of them is 1680x1050 the other one is 1280x1024 ^_^ Now why do i have 2 different monitors with different aspect ratio and resolution? Well, i spent most of my money on games so i can't be arsed buying another 22" XD Anyway, new wallpaper :D

very cool, both of you.

red, that kind of reminds me of something my bro told me once:

when he was in high school (2003 about) in his senior year, a kid in his class made a website for the school, where people could post funny quotes they had heard throughout the day. (150 character limit, sorta a precursor to twitter. and he published it too, so if he ever launched it, HE could sue TWITTER for copyright infringement. 8) )

now, my bro told me about this one time in particular that he was taking a history final with this really strict teacher (he would not allow the class to ask for pens, ect.), and he had finished the essay, short answer, the bubble sheet, ect. and was on the last leg of the test, 2 pages of multiple choice. well, his pen died. and then his pencil broke, and he didn't have his sharpener. well, he went to a technical school, so every student had a small knife. desperate to finish his test, he cut his hand, dipped his pen into it, and started finishing his test in blood. the teacher sees what he's doing, and, frantic, asks, "russell, what are you doing!?" my bro responds, "taking my test." teach: "what are you writing in!?" bro: "blood."

this was posted on the quote site, and after this, the teachers started using it too.
and you could ask for pens in that teacher's class after that. xD

EDIT: reorganized mah desktop.

Awesome!! you don't see those these days.

*salutes Red*

It's a damn weird system for me to work with, although anything is weird when you've "grown up" using *nix command lines. If anything, the DOS command language reminds me more of the DEC ones... O.o

Thank you Acher, my computers have become a veritable zoo of old OSes that nobody sees much anymore. Case in point, I have an bootable x86 implementation of Unix V7 lying around somewhere...

Btw, what's your Mac again, Bella?

FAAAAAR too big.  Win 3.1 is basically a glorified DOS shell, and DOS only supports FAT16, which goes up to a maximum of 2GB.
