I originally planned to do fast food, like a giant soda for ME-chan and a cupcake for 2.5-sama, but for purposes of time (and due to the golden opportunity with the roll cake), I downgraded to simpler foods.  ^v^

I love leeks, though.  ^__^
Could probably eat them raw, but do prefer them cooked.  ^^;

Speaking of which, a quick commentary on my picture.  -v-

As you know, that there is my first rendition of the famous Mac OS3-tan, my favorite of your preMac-tans.  ^__^
I was originally planning a full body version, but I needed a wiki avi (and besides, chibis are faster and some might say even cuter), so I settled for my standard chibi format.  Chibi "Wiki" format, that is -- essentially the same, minus some simplification in the eyes for purposes of style-matching.  ^__^
Your tri-color hair was a really cool idea, and I love how unique it makes her look.  ^___^
She's posing for the camera, bringing her hat down and raising her hand (along with bag) for added effect.  -v-

In the background, we see OS9-kun helping her carry her stuff yet again -- and having no room to carry her recently purchased pink hat, is forced to wear it.  The sight of ME-tan in the distance is not helping ease the pain.  ^__^;

Oh, and the "stick figureness" is 3 parts comic relief, 2 parts ghostly-sorrow, and one part laziness of drawing a -kun.  -v-

ME-tan and 95 OSR 2.5-sama in the background can more than explain themselves.  ^__^'
The colors were originally more vibrant, but had to fade them to add at least some form of focal depth.  ^__^;
I get the impression they're a little too "high up", so I may lower them a tad in the uploaded version.  ^___^

Great rendering, Aurora. Just to let everyone know, I have not and do not intend to buy a Zune or iPod. I have bought the Archos 402 Camcorder, which I think is twice as good as either the iPod or Zune. But enough jokes. I sit patiently for C-Chan's new rendering!

I do...and I think C-chan is right, months ago I tried it...and there are extra features that you can see...especially the iDoom (loved it by the way!)

I hate I tunes.. the program bugs me to no end, and i personaly dont care for the IPod Design, so I will never get one.  The one zune I saw looked like an IPod rip off do I dont think Ill get one of those either.. but then again I never really listen to portable music.. i prefer to be more aware of my surroundings if Im on the go, and if Im at home I have a surround sound system.. I dont need to wear head phones.  That and headphones give me head aches... no matter how nice

Substantial delays due to holiday pics, first the XP/OS9.2 one, now the Captain's, and possibly a third for Pitkin.  ^__^'

Touche,... When I do have it on in the street, I only use one earbud.  Don't fancy dancing to the tune of Toumei Shelter one second, then getting hit by a car the next.  ^___^;

Portable music seems to distance people alot more these days.. instead of striking up conversation in public people shut out those around them with their IPod or what ever they have.  

Its a shame really.

Hehe,... well the bigger shame is that people have been shutting others out in public LONG before the advent of music players.  ^^;

A result of sensory overload with a dash of fear -- the more people there are (e.g., big cities), the more noticeable the effect.  Without the overload and an easier spirit, riding a train would be like jamming in a mosh pit.  ^__^
