I watched Nuku Nuku DASH! Ep.1 and 2 today. Prably the only one who likes this.

what other mahjong series are there? :0

One of them is Akagi, which has a very... unique. artstyle.  It's more a yakuza/mafia sort of anime, and they get more into the nitty gritty details of strategy (and cheating) but it is very interesting. Requires more of a knowledge of Japanese mahjong going in though. But basically the main character is just damn good. haha

The other one that comes to mind is Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku's anime version, Legend of Koizumi, which is VERY short, and you can watch it on youtube. Even less mahjong knowledge required than Saki, since everyone wins all the time with special hands. (Think winning with royal flushes and 4-of-a-kind aces EVERY TIME in a poker game)
Oh, the best part? They're all real life political leaders. Delegating. Through mahjong.

It used to be on youtube for the longest time until Bandai took it down. There's only 3 eps, all less than 10 minutes, so you can get through it quick.

I do recommend the manga if you want to see the story in more detail. Especially involving the leaders shown at the end of this short series.
