OS/2 is an advanced OS that was developed in collaboration between Microsoft and IBM in the late 1980's and was expected to be even more successful than MS-DOS but didn't catch on very well (and was left to IBM) because of Windows 3.x's and Windows 95's success. OS/2's support by IBM was ultimately dropped on Dec 31 2006 but still has a very strong and loyal userbase.

There also exists an OS/2-tan, who is a Star Trek fangirl and has a huge vendetta against the Windows-tans after being betrayed by both of her companies and wants nothing but revenge against the Windows Family despite the odds she is against.
