Don't be alarmed just because it's not classic. I have to spend some time on Darker than black, which is by the way among the best animes that exist.
(Although Nejin will probably kill me when he sees this I must say it) It's way better than Lucky Star.

(however anything can be compared to Haruhi - that is, in the way that nothing can ever outclass Haruhi in terms of awesomeness on any plane. -w-)
