Ikina of AMD!

I noticed a twit by hatsune that was retweeted by hikaru a few hours ago with mention to Claudia, thus I scoped it out to see what was going on.
Found Q&A type thing going on between the writer and the artist of Claudia whom had made another mascot character that was picked up by AMD as of last year when they officially changed the name of "ATI Embedded Graphics" to "AMD Embedded Graphics" and the release of the AMD Radeon 6xxx series GPU.

With a couple of clicks I came to a picasa album for Ikina and found many fan made renditions of her (Both good and bad) so I'm going to post a few here.
Also, Ikina represents All of AMD's products but tends to consentrate on the 6xxx Graphics Cards and is along side many other -tans that I cant identify...

I think her design would be good for windows 8 but I think she should just stay as the AMD-tan...
She has a pretty large fan base though with people sticking her everywhere and a few computer shops in Japan have her for advertising new AMD products such as the Phenom II x6 and bulldozer!

I had no idea ATI and AMD were one and the same! (TTATT) OTL

TBH I'm quite bad when it comes to hardware. Still, while I have no idea what this amalgamation before me is made up of, I can tell you everything installed on it! Actually, I remember having an awkward conversation with the ISP, because of my hardware problems. I now know this cable works for both TV and internet. I thought the TV would have internet on it if I stuck a cable in there. No. It just gives me cable TV. My mind is blown. I don't understand how cable works anymore. I thought I did. I thought internet and TV took two different cables.

I went off on a tangent there. XD

Anyway, I like Ikina! She's cute. The fan art with meat cooking on her is silly. Pretty true too - provided you like rare meat - and silly! XD

Speaking of AMD, I saw a Nanami Madobe figurine with an AMD figurine. It was so~ cute. I'd like to see an Ikina figurine now too!

From what I know, Ikina is the only representation (That has a large fanbase) of AMD so I'm guessing it was her...
