yeah, well, wayne was there most often, went on to have the most successful career besides carey (though Ryan Stiles is doing pretty good, too), and was the most well-liked, it seems. he also had the energy of a pomeranian, which was a great benefit. he wasn't canadian though, which some may have thought would have held him back, but evidently it didn't.
