Used to be up there. Back when the forum was actually regulated we had members complaining of exactly that, and threads deemed okay to post large amounts of pictures were to be tagged with "warning image heavy" for the 56K or other slow connections.  Not sure if i have the ability to modify titles, but I can try to put a warning in there or have aroura do it if you feel its nessicary.  Generally as a rule of thumb however any thread that has "picture" in the title the regulations on picture size and quantity pretty much arent there.. long as its not raping the borders.
