I've done this but the other way around, I didn't want to re-cock the rifle at Rifle Team Tri-outs so I tried to fire Semi. The range master came over and layed down next to me, taking over as my spotter, and was nice enough to re-cock my rifle for the rest of my shots down the range. I scored my highest that day showing that I can deal some damage with a semi due to not having the re-adjust for every shot or taking my eyes of the target. I wish they used Semi-auto rifles for the rifle team, Tri-out day wasn't an easy day for me...

It's a propaganda poster that instead of spouting jingoistic slogans about winning an easy war to soothe the civil populace, has a crippled veteran telling you that its not going to be a snap. Instead there's a long row left to hoe and you might end up killed or wounded in the end.

I also feel its worth saying these are both US Army posters from 1945, courtesy of the Center for Military History.
