Ohohoho. Well, I don't really hate Suiseiseki, but Suigintou is far superior to her. So I'll side with the dark side. Nothing personal n_n

Yeah, the Land cruiser would be really costly to maintain, but look at the bright side of that thing: you can obliterate an entire city with just 2 or 3 of them. And you can't deny it looks pretty
In case you point out the bombers threat to that monster: with the advances in point defense systems, It wouldn't be too difficult to shield this thing against bombs, missiles and artillery shells. Just add some CIWS,  THEL's and RAM launchers.
