(Also, I forgot about that theory. Then again, I once saw a theory on how Super Mario Bros. 3 was actually a stage play; which explains why floating platforms are either "bolted" to the background or suspended by rope -w-; )

hah, that's so cool! as it is Paper Mario was presented story-style, so maybe they were going for that angle in SMB3 but scrapped the idea (but not the stages). :3

@pent: there was a chick i went to school with whose last name was "grey". but tbh i've never heard that rule and spelled it with an e this whole time because i am secretly from europe.
