What's your favorite video game? Or favourite. Ehh, whichever... Isn't that why they made this Unicode heavy black heart character (❤)?

Does it vary by console/platform? Post list plz!

Is it just one game that dominates in every way possible? Post one game plz!

Hate video games? Post why you BAD_UTF_CHARACTER_NO_SOUP_FOR_YOU video games. (Pretend that's a UTF+1F494 BROKEN HEART if your fonts lack as much as mine do...)

Ehh, anyway...

My all-time fav: Star Ocean: The Second Story for the PS1 (or Evolution for the PSP, same thing)

Runner up: Ico for the PS2, and very closely a contender as my all-time fav. Here, has random fan art I found a long time ago:

Prior to 1996: Anything Sierra-related, but King's Quest VI is unforgettable

Best FPS: I still play Quake. Quake I. Constantly.

Otherwise: Morrowind is amazing!

I can't say I have an absolute best but I guess I can post some of my favs of all time for each system I've owned?

Gameboy- Pokemon Blue
Gameboy Color- Pokemon Crystal
GBA- Legend of Zelda minish cap/Pokemon
Gamecube- MoH, Mario Cart double dash, NHL2003
NDS- Pokemon soul silver (I don't own that many games so this is the one I play the most)
Xbox360- Fallout: New Vegas, Tales of Vesperia, CoD4, BlkOps

Alone in the Dark from 1992, on PC <3 - one of the first 3d games ever, it's also the scariest game I've ever played, made me scream aloud and jump off the chair. In 2009. >.<

From the past 10 years, Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura from 2001, on PC again - I just love the steampunk world it features, and like how the characters interact with each other depending on the personalities and statistics. <3 Technically it's not very good, though: save-game corruption really hampers the gameplay especially later on. ._.
