I would object because I'm mostly Mediterranean and Slavic and don't consider either of those races to be "white" per se. (Caucasian, but not white.)

maybe you guys would like it because it's shorter than avatar. maybe you'd like it because of the steampunk angle. or maybe it's the strong female lead. either way, it's good to have some prior knowledge of Avatar before you start. at the very least, read a summary of the 3 seasons, it shouldn't take you long.
