are all the things that were served for thanksgiving yesterday. :3

today's breakfast (in sick-o vision!): apple cinnamon oatmeal and mint tea
snack (in amazing techni-cold-r!): french onion sunchips and ginger ale
lunch (in all new illness high-def): chicken soup and likely another ginger ale

Since our oven is broken, we couldn't roast a turkey...

We ended up having boiled turkey with gravy, carrots, mashed potatoes seasoned with chives, sage stuffing, cranberry sauce,  and pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert. Later on we put the rest of the turkey into a soup, with carrots, celery, corn, three kinds of mushroom (portabella, cloud ear and shiitake) and onions.

Oh right, you guys have some weird sorta tradishun this time o' year. I WANT TO GO OUT AND KILL PHEASANTS AND EAT THEM AND STICK THEIR FEATHERS ON A HAT NOW.

Anyway, just me and my clanner cousin who's visiting from Åland this weekend - parents are in Östersund for skiing. (Bastards.) So I made a simple dinner of Falukorv sausage, fried eggs and pasta while he took out the dog for a walk - then he got lost, and food was standing warm on the stove for half an hour. ^^;
