...Actually I've never used Plan 9 or 386BSD (unless its wonderful derivatives count) so I dunno what I'm going on about either... Anywayz, congrats! DUDE I AM SO INTO THIS IDEA, LET'S DO IT! I dunno if you've heard, but I'ma kind good at bowling. Kind of legendary actually. I'm like #1 ranked champion according to ... what's the bowling organization? It isn't FIFA. Nor NFL... I dunno. I can't remember right now, but I'm #1 ranked champion at bowling iirc. imho. ... ... LET'S DO IT!

I write mostly C code! Pure, standards-conforming, beautiful C code! Haha, well, it's been a while since I've made anything good tbh, but my latest project is (so, so, so slowly) going to be a new QuakeWorld game engine written entirely from scratch with in-game ELO/stat tracking and lots of other goodies.

I'm slow as #@%@% since I'm so OCD about my coding, and I hate working with other people so I usually do my projects alone. The QW community is trying to make me put my stuff (well, what I've got so far) on github so they can help tho. I'm thinking about it. :p

In the past, the thing that drove me was a passion for reverse-engineering software. :> Back when keygenz were useful, etc. At one point I also reverse-engineered MOST of the Morrowind model format (which is srsly intense) so I've got the code for a, eh, maybe 50% complete version of Morrowind that runs on the PSP! I've always thought about open-sourcing that but I'm embarrassed at the code since it's so messy. iirc, someone else was working on something similar (except for the PC instead of PSP), so maybe it wouldn't be too hard to finish that project. Some day...... :p

technically, i'm not Canadian, as i was born in the US, but most of my family is from there, and i've been know to accidentally slip into the accent, so i like to joke that i'm one, too. ^^;

welcome to the forums! curious, are you from the east or west coast? also, if you don't mind my asking, which friend? (and might you like the OS-tans?)

any particular kind of game you like? (most of the ones i have are for PS1, PS2, or N64, haha. ^^; )

I play... a ton of games, mostly PC/Nintendo. As of recent, I play a lot of World of Warcraft, but I just got a Wii U for Christmas, and so Smash Bros. is about to take up all my time.
