Aw, phooey. ^^

LA resident here, so I go to burbank or that... one.. uh... I forget the place but it's by the 60 hwy. XD yay for our method of telling directions.

If you don't mind me asking questions,
What's the theme that the building has there?
and
What's it like to work there? most employees don't look all to thrilled... >.>
...except the two guys I sometimes see on the DDR pad.

Our theme is, The Lost City of Atlantis. Working at Fry's is well, a bit different than shoping there. It depends what department you work in and if you like it there. Myself, I work in the Computer Department. Hopefully going to returns soon, hopefully. ;013 If you're ever in the area and want to drop me a visit, go ahead. I like to meet people from online. (Not in the sicko way.)

OldSkool

Quote from: "NewYinzer"Welcome OldSkool! Good to have a partial anime fan here! Feel free to post on the forums, view the gallery, and download stuff from the downloads section!

Hehe, I think you misunderstood. I was gonna say that I'm an anime FAN, but not an otaku, or versed in the otaku language, or something. I don't take it seriously.

By the way, I saw in some thread that you were developing an in-house comic? It sounds like a good idea.  ;010

Oh, here it is: http://ostan.blackdiam.net/viewtopic.php?t=102

again, sounds good.

Hello to all, I'm a new member from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, nice to be here with you. I use Win XP & Firefox, and just now upgraded IE from 6 to 7.0, though I still prefer Firefox.
I like OS-tans and anime mascots. I saw them for years, but it's only recently I started paying attention. It's amazing how many of them there are! I'm going to try creating a few myself.
And yes, I am an otaku, sad as that is. ;012

SleepyD

bah, nothing wrong with otaku. ^^

Toronto, eh?
I went there a while back... don't remember much really. ^^;

Welcome to the OS-tan forums! Hope you enjoy, and I certainly do hope you stay.

And direct all ideas in creating new stuff to C-Chan, for that pig is the one getting all that organized. ^^

Welcome Randalt!  ^__^
You hail from beautiful Toronoto, eh?
I miss that city.  ^___^
The only city in the world that I know of that has a coin shop in the middle of a mall....  -v-

*sighs passionately* I love Canadian currency....  -.-

I'm assuming someone twisted your arm and forced you to upgrade to 7.0.  I've long stopped listening to M$ propaganda, so unless the day comes when my fellow pig bretheren start flying and Windows is released as open source, they ain't gettin' anything from me.  ^__^

Anyway, glad to see you express interest in creating new OS-tans; we could always use some extra artistry around here.  ^.^

I'm not sure if I'm organizing the efforts per se, but I am trying to create a sort-of encyclopedia of known and prospective OS-tans:

And I've created a few myself, mostly vintage OSes and abandonware.  -v-

Currently working on a Unix-sama (System I, the original from Bell Labs).

welcome Randalt! lol being an otaku is not a crime nor is being canadian wrong  ;010

Being an Otaku can be impoverishing, though..... ^^;

Greetings, Randalt!  Welcome to the board!

My best cyber-friend lives in Ontario, so you're automatically all right in my book.  Please join in the various conversations when you're able; and most of all, have fun!

Welcome Randalt! Good to have another otaku and lumberjack on our forums!

Randalt

Thank you all very much for the welcome. I will try to contribute.
I upgraded to IE 7 to see how similar the tabbing system was to Firefox's. It's all right but I will stay with Firefox-ko.

Good man!  ^___^

She likes you already....  ^v^
