also, protip: when you don't have a pattern for a costume, you can a. edit an existing one, b. edit an existing piece of clothing, or, if you're feeling brave (or have extensive sewing knowledge like me), c. make your own. :3

Well, yeah; but, since it was so short notice, my mom didn't really have enough time to modify an existing one. Besides, I felt that getting glasses was the final nail in the coffin for that costume (Although glasses are cool, Li doesn't wear them). Although, I'm not sure how well the costume would have worked anyway; at the time, I hadn't quite grown out of my cute shotaro boy looks (I was almost like a real-life version of Momiji, from Fruits Basket, when I was younger)

Well, at the time I didn't really like my glasses at all; I wore them because I had to, but I preferred being without them. However, I eventually did come to like them and care less about them getting in the way of me pulling off an accurate cosplay of a character; as I did an extremely low-budget cosplay of Link about a year later (By low budget, I mean piecing together a costume using regular clothes from a thrift store).

@choco: I just saw that 98-tan cosplay. Not too bad; better than a lot of the cosplays I did as a kid (Probably my most shameful was of Kid Trunks, way back in 2000; which looked more like Anakin Skywalker from Episode I, but dressed in green).

However, that 2k-tan cosplay is pretty good; worth of my seal of approval:

These are games that I'm either currently playing or intend to finish soon; between the bookends that came with the collector's edition of LittleBigPlanet 2. Of those 4 games, most of my effort has been focused on Persona 3 FES; although I intend on actually finishing .hack sometime soon, as well as getting back to Hyperdimension Neptunia.

This is the next level down on the shelf; where my DVD of TV shows are. This side is mostly Doctor Who, as you can see; including a imported copy of the 1996 made-for-TV movie (Since it wasn't available in Region 1 at the time). The blank spot between the box sets of seasons 1 and 3 is where Season 2 would be; which my sister is currently borrowing.

The only box sets not accounted for between these two pics, aside from the 2nd season of Doctor Who, are the 4th season of Doctor Who (Which just shipped out today from Amazon), and the complete series of DNAngel (Which I found this morning at the local museum's annual rummage sale. It appears to be a bootleg, unfortunately, but a nicely-made one at least)

I'd take a picture of the bottom shelf (Where my DVD movies are, all my BluRay discs thus far, and my DS collection), but it's a bit hard to get to at the moment.

I was originally going to wait until after the new episode of Doctor Who to post more stuff in this topic, in case I lost that bet, but I decided to go ahead and post some other stuff anyway
