@Choco:

1) Thanks! My UK flag and my USA flag are both from WWII, the UK flag was my great grandpa's which he kept in his fighter plane until after the battle of Britain. My USA flag was taken all over the pacific on one of the aircraft carriers, someone in my family brought it back after the war.

2)Thanks again! Here, have some dosh

i'm always jealous of other countries for their money, it's so much prettier than ours. have you seen canada? they pay in fricken' rainbows. :0

True that. I actually have a Canadian 10-cent piece, as well as a few other foreign coins, in my special bank of collector coins (Along with a US steel penny, circa WWII :3)

In other news, check out my 360 controller. It looks very nice, and is also very comfortable (They fixed a lot of my issues with the standard controller)

Also, a model 500 rotary dial phone. This thing is built like a tank; outlasting every single cordless phone that has replaced it over the years

Chocofreak13

i still want a candlestick phone. :[

also people, i have begun uploading new photos to facebook (i would have uploaded them here, but there were just way too many). here are 2 new albums, and i'll let you know when i upload more:

Nice ^_^

So, I have some more random pics to show:

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x283/The_Real_PentiumMMX/Timey%20wimey%20stuff/IMG0042A.jpg
Firstly, the uncomfortably large spider web on my front porch. It was kind of pretty, with the light hitting it just right

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x283/The_Real_PentiumMMX/Timey%20wimey%20stuff/IMG0041A.jpg
This box says "filler" on it. Does it perhaps contain random Dragon Ball Z episodes? xD

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x283/The_Real_PentiumMMX/Timey%20wimey%20stuff/100_6387.jpg
The sadly forgotten Nintendo eReader, for the Game Boy Advance, with one of the more elaborate games released for it (Mario Party-e). Damn this thing was cool, but it was a massive flop ;_;

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x283/The_Real_PentiumMMX/Timey%20wimey%20stuff/100_6384.jpg
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x283/The_Real_PentiumMMX/Timey%20wimey%20stuff/100_6385.jpg
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x283/The_Real_PentiumMMX/Timey%20wimey%20stuff/100_6386.jpg
Lastly, the promotional dog tags for StarFox 64 3D, which just came in the mail today. The front side shows the characters, while the backside shows their name and one of their quotes from the game (Of course, Peppy's quote is "Do a barrel roll!"). They're not as nice as the Pokémon dog tags I bought at a dollar store ages ago, but hey; they were a free bonus from Gamestop's rewards program, so I can't complain

Chocofreak13

cool pics, man. that IS an uncomfortably large spiderweb.

WHY DID YOU HAVE TO REMIND ME OF THAT NIGHTMARE OH GOD

also, new album is up:

I took some random pics, so...pics :3

Firstly, a random image as a reference to Konbini Store. The coins are nearly stacked in a way that forms a paperweight for the receipt; making it hard to handle -w-
(I forgot the exact wording for the translation of that part of the song)

An miniature owl statue that my grandma has on her desk at home. I figured Bella might like this :3

Just because I felt like it, a picture of Sonata's AirPort AirMac card. It's the Japanese version of the AirPort card, for those who may be wondering

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x283/The_Real_PentiumMMX/Timey%20wimey%20stuff/100_6398.jpg
The original Sonic the Hedgehog trilogy in their original cases...with the exception of Sonic & Knuckles (The 2nd half of Sonic 3, in all it's oddly-shaped cartridge glory), which I've yet to stumble onto a box for. As a fun fact for those who may not know, there is a cartridge slot on top of Sonic & Knuckles, allowing one to plug in Sonic 3 on top and play the combined version of both games (Which is easily the best way to experience it).

Lastly, a picture showcasing what I consider the 3 best platform games on the DS. A shame most people don't know about Giana Sisters DS...or Super Princess Peach, for that matter (At least New Super Mario Bros. is good)

Chocofreak13

not true. i've heard of SPP but i don't have a DS, and by now it's one of the more expensive DS titles on the market. :\
as for Giana Sisters, that one just looks cool. >w<

aw man, that's so cool. YO DAWG, I HERD YOU LIKE CARTRIDGES, SO WE PLUGGED A CARTRIDGE INTO YOUR CARTRIDGE SO YOU CAN OLD WHILE YOU SKOOL

why do you have a japanese card...?

cute owl. ^^ (but is its beak broken off? :\ )

you got the line about right. you got the message across, at least. it really is annoying when they do that, tbh. >>;

The owl's beak isn't broken off, from what I can tell. It's just small (Also, poor lighting)

Also, I have a Japanese card for Sonata because the domestic ones were apparently a hot item on eBay last summer; as they always shot well out of my price range :\

I do suppose SPP is fairly well known, but it's not as well known as New Super Mario Bros.

Giana Sisters~

Coincidentally, it's the first game I ever played in my life. I was four years old and played it on my big brother's Commodore 64. Less coincidentally, it's also the only game I have for DS, despite never having owned the console. ^.^ I'm a big, big fan.

Chocofreak13

ah, so it was for the Commodore64 first? wow. :0

Nichi

Yep. There's also apparently an Amiga port, according to Wikipedia :3

Pitkin

I saw my brother playing the Amiga port that he had borrowed once, and back then I thought it was the most amazing-looking game I had ever seen. x)
