@Kriz and Kari: Hahahaha, yeah, that was pretty much my reaction when I saw it at the antique store. To answer your questions: it's a stationary mouse, that ball is used to control the cursor, and the buttons are used to click (right, middle and left).

I tried to get a picture with me holding the boxes for 95, 98SE, ME, and 2000, but the pictures didn't turn out right; the box I had my camera on top of was too tall

That DEC book is so old-school! What kind of historical info have you found in that book?

I wish I could get a System 6 setup working in Mini vMac... but i fail at Classic Mac emulation. D:

All sorts of info, including a connection between the LINC computer and CDC, and the discovery that Whirlwind had a companion computer - called the Memory Test Computer - at MIT. As for other info... here I am reading Part II, Chapter 6, "The PDP-1"... with a Boston Accent. Since DEC history calls for it. o__o

I tried to get a picture of both of my Windows 2000 installation discs (The legit disc I just bought, and the CD-R my uncle made for me back in '06), but there was too much of a glare on the CD-R to read it's label...so instead, here's a picture of Sylvester I took earlier:
