Wow! I disappear for freakin one week... ONE WEEK! ...and Acher shows up out of the blue. Long time no see and good timing (the extra posts are welcomed).
What a Linuxy icon theme you have (I know it as "Crystal SVG"). :P
Deep in the recesses of the kDE4 Subversion files there is experimental support for multiple wallpapers, making it the second Desktop Environment (besides Enlightenment) to have that capability natively. Would've tried to play around with it, but too busy playing with Intrepid Ibex still. ;D
Speaking of playing, I got a little curious about Plymouth in Fedora Core 10. Virtualbox is probably not the best place to show it off, but did like everything else I saw. Has a very nice Gnome setup, but the KDE4 one is en par with Mandriva's.... -v-

So shiny....is it running Compiz?
BTW, I finally... finally... googled Kawaii Radio. It certainly delivers what its name promises (But somehow I now want to go out and find all of SOUL'd OUT's records).
Uhm...not my screenshot, but hopefully it will be someday if I can get a powerful enough computer to run a good emulator and a hobbyist license!

Nope. ^__^
It's on pure Kwin4 Compositing -- think of it as a native version of Compiz Fusion for KDE4. The plugins and effects definitely share a lot of similarities and it certainly helps cut down on resource use not having to load a separate composite manager on top of kwin. Unfortunately, since the KDE4 codebase still requires more optimization (easier to do later once everything is written and running stable), KDE4+Compositing is still a bit of a resource hog. It's no small wonder they call it the "Vista" of the Linux world. -v-;

It's funny how much I liked the Gurren Lagann music it played regularly, even if I didn't realize at the time it was from Gurren Lagann (or what "Gurren Lagann" was).
Then again, also watched Ichigo 100% because of Kawaii Radio, and it sucketh. Guess you can't win it all.... ;__;

| Try a proxy when you've got photobucket problems is my tip. PHProxy for FX for example, is a jolly-good-ol' favorite. If you're too lazy you can just try http://wep9.com/ which is what I use when I need one. |

.............Zuh? ''
Well besides that, it sounds like it won't be work-safe either. ^^'
Not to worry though -- I can see your screenshot as fine as day at home. Looks very nice -- although I think the wallpaper could be done by the same artist as mine since the surreal landscape style is eerily similar. ^.^
[although in my screenshot, Virtualbox is covering up the sunset] |

Ditto. ^^
However... seems to only affect the panels, not the windows themselves.... ;___; |

| Aaaah, going with a classic theme. I've been using the classic theme on Windows for over a year now, and can't stand the Luna Theme anymore ^^; |

I don't know how much sarcasm you had in your post, but first, I enabled a lot of gadgets in this screenshot just for the sake of doing so, for demonstration purpose. I don't even put gadgets beyond the sidebar in everyday use. Second, I don't know how much you understand gadgets, but that calendar flyout is something that appears only when you actually click on the docked gadget.
My desktop scared you? I suppose those half-naked Anime gal wallpapers, or even the idea of OS-tan itself, must be way beyond creepy... LMAO |

Ah, so that was only a shareware demo? I once used WindowBlinds on XP...it was fun for awhile and I was a bit bummed out when the demo was up. Afterward I thought about using the UxTheme multipatcher (which was a free modification which would allow XP to run 3rd party themes) but I thought it too risky to try out.
Now I just go with the plain old Windows Classic theme, which I like 'cause fancy themes get on my nerves quite quickly. I can't stand Luna or Royale anymore. ^^ |

No, I just rather clean up my desktops (dualscreen ftw.) to contain nothing but windows. I'm highly app-focused. I experimented with widgets using some Stardock apps before, but they just annoy the shit out of me. I do have a system app for monitoring my CPU/mobo fan speed/temp, and voltages, on my second monitor though. That's just for security reasons, though, since DELTA quite often goes really, really hot. ^^ |
