Due to several factors, including - but not limited to - lack of incomes and lack of time from me, this site will be moved back to a smaller server before mid-november.

That shouldn't change anything for end-users, apart a downtime due to the move and maybe a slight decrease in display speed (shouldn't harm the overall navigation).

Dates of the move will be told as soon as i know them.

That said, a big, big thanks to C-Chan for his support for this site... (never had occasion to tell that)

The site will be moved very soon (as soon as the name servers are ok to be changed), i'll try to do that as fast as possible, can take from several hours to a few days, hopefully the first one

come to think of it, we should do more fundraising etc...

maybe we could do an art auction or something with our resident artists for monies of this sort of things? Or custom ranks and the like.

Nope,... if you hadn't said you changed servers, I'd swear we were still on the old one. ^v^

Only thing is that some folks said before that image upload didn't work,... and since I still see my CE/DSL pic up there even though a lot of artwork's been drawn, I'm wondering if the problem still persists. '__'

I'm glad that this server move was quite efficient and effective. A true homage to the amazingness of Fedora-dono! ^o^

So, on the good side:

While I'm not sure if it was the sever move, or some tweaks I made to webkit, but I can finally see this part of our main page.

Oddly enough, Sazaki-chan couldn't render this part in any browser (except camino) but now it works ^.^

As for loading speeds, I think that it really isn't very noticeable, but if you really wanted to know, it take me an extra two seconds to connect via FTP (lol ^v^)

The bad side:

Nothing really. Just wondering if we have phpMyAdmin back, or some other replacement. It would help if I could see how the tables are organized and such, rather than just guessing.

I'm proud to announce that I have successfully uploaded an image to my user gallery -- and not only is it finally working, but the process seems to have been streamlined a bit too as I only have to fill out one information form now. ^___^

In any event, that problem seems solved. Will be sure to help keep an eye out for more.

Oh, oops. Sorry, the reason it's 'streamlined' is that I can get much more concise debug info if there is only one upload slot. That's my fault. Though I suppose, if people think it's better, we could leave it how it is. I don't do enough uploading to really know which is better ^^'
